The room with private bathroom was very clean, the bead was really comfortable and the had hairdryer. Value for money
It's a nice place for short staying
The private rooms are good. The bunks are terrible.
Very close to the train station. We used to laundry twice while there. You have to buy the tokens from reception but the dryer never quite dried our clothes, both times we needed like 3 cycles in the dryer. Maybe it's worth finding a local laundromat instead. The room was nice enough for a hostel. We had a private room with private shower and for the price it was great. Very close to the transport.
Being a hostel the staff were quite slow to attend to everyone, there was often a line at reception, but they were friendly enough. Perhaps more than one staff member at reception would be better. The no food rule is stupid, people were bringing in outside food anyway. The breakfast was very lacking. When booking online the price was 11 euro per person per day and then when we checked in they offered us breakfast for 6euro per person per day. So if you want breakfast, wait until you check in to save money. However, I don't think it's worth it. There was scrambled eggs (no bread or toast) and some precut cold meat. The cereal selection was also lacking. 3 options, cornflakes, chocolate flakes and dried oats (Not cooked porridge. I suggest buying some cereal and using their milk and utensils in the morning, like we saw others doing. There was no social life in the communal areas, which was disappointing for a hostel. Perhaps because it's winter.
If you have stay in Generator before this one will disappoint you. Only one elevator working and it was very small, my sheet had a hole (I only stayed for one night so I didn’t complain or say anything), I asked the reception for a hairdryer and the guy said they didn’t have any without even looking. I have worked in hotels for a long time and I know that maybe the facilites are not good but what matters is how the service is. I can tell I didn’t like any of them. We chose this generator because we love the one in Stockholm and we have a reservation for Generator London that we think we are going to cancel
Room and the beds were clean, friendly stuff.
The facility had only one working elevator, and was kind of slow, which made always a queue infront of it.
