Very good place for stay in the city of Beograda:)
Well, the best thing of all during my three day stay at this hostel was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, especially Katya who even came down five floors to open the door for me and was always cheerfully positive and there most of the time to cater for the guests' needs. The property was organised well and had a medium sized common room with a kitchenette for the inhabitants to mingle.
There are a few points for improvement. First and foremost is the cleanliness. Yes, although the staff were very active in vacuuming and such, but there was an issue with the bed sheets and pillows as I did notice some hairs from previous tenants and immediately after leaving Belgrade I developed a skin rash, so I would suggest hiring a dedicated day cleaner as most hostels do. Furthermore and most importantly it is a non-smoking hostel but still at most times of the day or night cigarette smoke can clearly be smelt throughout the premises. This was a major issue due to lung sensitivity. Otherwise, the people running this place are magnificent.
I had a long layover in Belgrade and was really tired, so I booked this hostel to drop off my stuff and sleep for a while. It is a very small, cozy and quaint hostel. The beds were extremely comfortable and I slept really well. The staff was wonderful. There are two large, single person bathrooms that are spacious and fully equip, along with a kitchen and hangout area. The place was very clean and the location is great, just a few minutes walk to the a1 airport shuttle bus, and in easy walking distance to major attractions of Belgrade
Nothing. If someone has mobility issues or very heavy luggage, this place would not be ideal because it is up a few flights of stairs. The staircase is clean, wide and not steep at all.
