Close to metro and Wangfujing.
A deposit of 500 RMB will be collected upon check in and cannot be paid with a debit card. There is no fridge in the room.
The location of this hotel is great. The price is very good for this location. Room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here next time visiting Beijing!
Everything ok except my deposit.
I got charged a deposit of 500yuan for a night in this hotel using my card and after 5 days, still got no refund. Please do something!
Very close to train station, downtown pedestrian street and to metro station. Very quiet. Well priced
Concierge had difficulty with giving directions. The hotel map is so crowded with Chinese and English names that it isn't even of use in understanding where the hotel is in relation to other places.
It's very transparent that the staff really tried their best to make guests stay more pleasant which is appreciated, but the restaurants that they partners with might spoil this hard work. It's very big hotel and the majority of the guests are Chinese speaking. Very clean hotel, comfy room, bed and pillows. Reception as well as the information/concierge desk can speak good English. They helped us with our luggage and booked our tour to the Great Wall which we were very pleased with. Very friendly staff, good breakfast although it's the same stuff evey day. Wifi is terrible but bare in mind its like that everywhere in China, so it's not the hotel's fault. It smelled ciggies at the corridor of level 6 where we at, sometimes we can smell it in our bathroom. I guess some people broke the non smoking rule. Management should introduce smoking fine everywhere in the hotel, particularly against these people.
Restaurants management should consider to hire more people with English to achieve the hotel's goals. We were still jetlag and decided to try the hot pot restaurant and no one spoke English. Only one girl who could understand a few English words. Pricey and taste just okay. The restaurant at level 4 was a joke. No one spoke English only one woman with short hair who could speak English. We were tired from a day tour and decided to try this place out. We arrived at 8.40pm then all of the sudden all staff including chefs were on their break but we waited for our food. They giggled, played music and video which we didn't mind until we didn't get any service. An old lady brought our food she kept speaking Chinese (we figured she's trying to explain that 2 items are sold out) and no one came to help her/us. The staff slowly vanishes at 9.20pm including the lady who can speak english. At 9.30pm lights are off while we still eating so we hurried up and asked to pay but the boy didnt understand what we want which got us really frustrating so said we will sort this out at reception. Another waiter laughed at him because he spoke Chinese to us. Very unpleasant experience but in the end we found a cashier lady in the corner to settled the bill. Food was okay, some dishes are pricey some are fair. The bar in the lobby is the same story, no English pricey and extremely outdated. It feels more like a library without good books to read than a bar.
