The house was warm, continental breakfast was ok, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room and particularly the ensuite were tired, badly needs refurbishment. The loo flush was temperamental, light shades were disintegrating, grouting on bathroom floor tiles was in need of restoration.
Location very close to town centre. Spacious room / area of the ”special garden room” at a special charge of £ 20 / night Availability of purchasing a parking license from the reception for your full stay.
No lift available, while the rooms are located at 7 different levels! Worse case are the top roof rooms - up 5 stairs!! Continental breakfast was very limited in choice, at additional cost the english cooked breakfast was slightly better
comfort and privacy
Over priced Room, had to pay extra because I have a disability, unfair
Great location. Stayed on the third floor - not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as a steep climb. Room well furnished.
A couple of things niggled: a) TV remote control didn't work b) Towel rail in bathroom not secured c) Bathroom not as clean as could have been
Quiet Location, lovely building and rooms. good breakfast.
Needs a bit of maintenance - eg loose toilet seats. Overpriced relative to others nearby
