Friendly staff Cleanness Excellent central location
No lounge room Chill room was close for restorations No fridges no micro
The hostel is 10 minutes away from the train station and in Bath's city centre, close to the Abbey and the Roman Baths as well as the shopping and leisure streets. The dorm beds were comfortable and clean and although the dorm included 12 bunk beds there was enough space for everyone. The breakfast buffet (included in the price/£4) offers a lot of different options.
It says in the description is a party hostel, don't disregard this. It is right over a lively pub (especially on match nights) and can get very noisy. The area seems to have many other pubs and inns because there were people coming and going up until 1 or 2 in the morning. Take this into consideration if you are bothered by noise.
The cleanliness in the dorm and bathrooms. Super central location and friendly staff. The beds amenities, light and the provided towel was a nice touch.
The female dorm middle bed was making loud noises with every movement, which migh be very annoying at night if the person is turning a lot in bed.
Good location, clean rooms, friendly staff
I stayed in more then 50 hostels, this is the only one where I had to pay for luggage storage. Mixed bathroom wasn't that clean so I went to the female bathroom, which was fine.
close to the center and convenient to shop
No kitchen and messy chill out room. Some difficult to find the reception if you miss the pub in the ground floor.
