Very big room with a great balcony overlooking the river. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Superb location, away from all the other tourists, but a short walk to the river taxi brings you everywhere you need to be.
Breakfast was ok. as good as we paid. The staff was fine especially Bell boys, except the front desk ( they should be the best section of the hotel that is supposed to be very friendly. We were checking in around 13.20pm on December 23rd. One lady (with short hair) there really bad behaviors. Spoke to us ..treated us like we were begging for the shelter. Hey!!! we paid for this hotel room. She acted like she is the BIG boss of the hotel. Also we found out later that she gave us a 2 people breakfast coupon instead of 3 people since we stayed in the junior suite room. She is not qualified to be professional at all. It was very disappointment for our last day trip in Bangkok before we left the country. Bad experience. I will never go back.sorry.
Front Desk staff should be super friendly, since they are representative of the hotel to welcome the customers.
Large room. Very good breakfast. Very helpful staff
Smell in room. Mouldy smell
We arrived a lot earlier than expected and staff were able to offer us a room to relax in before transferring to our premier room. We were very grateful. In fact, the reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful and were ultra professional at all times. They even moved our bags to our new room when we piped out for lunch. The website has excellent local info and we used this to plan our sightseeing and shopping. Free WiFi but definitely slower at peak times. Our premier room was large, comfortable and our three year old loved running about in it! Lovely pool and shower was both powerful and hot - really nice toiletries were included and towels were soft. 3 minute walk from the river boats which are unbelievably cheap and easy to use. They stop at 7pm though. This was cheapest, upper scale hotel in area and delivers excellent value for money.
Whilst staff are helpful when asked, they can appear quite curt and perfunctory. We’d stayed in six other hotels in Thailand on that trip and got used to having a little chat as we checked in and out; this was not encouraged at this hotel. Might have been a language barrier? The position of the hotel doesn’t afford many evening excursion opportunities without using a taxi (we didn’t see any tuk-tuks). Two over priced restaurants were in walking distance and some street food vendors (but this is residential Bangkok and vendors were clearly not used to tourists and spoke no English - food options weren’t as appealing as in the more developed areas). The hotel restaurant was average but reasonably priced. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming in terms of quality but in terms of keeping room rates at super low prices, it’s worth it.
The room very large the view of the river
Didnt make it as a no show but stayed before and loved it
