The first night was good and I was allowed to check in early which was nice.
The second night was horrible- I had to change rooms (to 26 be warned) and I thought there was a funny smell so I opened the windows and left for the day. That night (after reception had closed) I got back to find the smell was the bedding and it was so putrid and disgusting I couldn’t sleep properly and all my clothing and skin was stained with the stench. When I asked for a refund of the €50 I had to debate for 20minutes just to have €20 thrown in my face. Totally unacceptable- I had to throw my clothes out and the stench lingered for many days.

The staff went out of their way to please.
The room we were in was very stark, i.e. There were no bedside cabinets or lamps, no bit bins, the water pressure was very low. It lacked a feeling of comfort.

The hotel is excellent value for money, staff were friendly and the rooms and hotel are newly renovated.
