The rooms where clean
We booked a room with a bath at the grand millennium hoping to enjoy both the bath in our room and the spa/ pool facilities that the hotel offers. However when we called to enquire about parking, an hour before our booking, we were told that our booking had been moved to the M social ( which we had not received any information about prior to my wife contacting the grand millennium). Having no time to look for other options we accepted the room being told the M social is a "5 star hotel". To our absolute disappointment when we arrived and checked into an average at best room, it did not infact have a bath and the hotel offered nothing in the way of a spa or pool.I then tried to speak to one of the staff to see if they could remedy this let down, only to be met with a sniggering laugh and a very dismissive "sorry we dont offer that service" from an extremely condescending attendee. All in all a terrible hotel experience for my wife and I on our 1 year wedding anniversary. I will never stay at one of these hotels again and I will definitely be advising my friends and family to do the same. Thank you for your time.
Bar and staff were great!
Pool was closed (when we booked this was not stated on the website. Shower in the room had bad pressure.
Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. Location is good and close to queen street. Taxi's are alwalys parked there and bus stops are adjacent to hotel. Skybus stop is only 200m away too. Good bar and restaurant.
Concierge was helpful.
It was just fine. Nothing that great.
The room was large and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a lot of counter space.
The hallways were very warm, there was no hot tub, it was not close to public transit.
