Novus City Hotel

This hotel is a handy option for business travellers visiting Athens. It has a number of meeting rooms (which can be arranged in different configurations) equipped with audiovisual technology, catering, and tech support. They also have staff on hand to assist you with translation and secretarial services. If you need to attend to work last minute and didn't bring your own laptop, the hotel offers laptops for hire. Business travellers may also appreciate the convenience of the hotel's 24/7 reception desk that can respond to queries and provide assistance ASAP.

The hotel already offers a relatively generous check-in of 14:00 and check-out of 12:00. However, if you'll be arriving earlier or departing late, you can ask the front desk for an early check-in or late check-out. The hotel can't guarantee that your room will be ready ahead of time, but if you make the request in advance, they can often accommodate you. If, alternatively, you have a very early departure, the hotel can sometimes arrange for your breakfast to be served ahead of the normal schedule.

This hotel is a great option for families. They provide a babysitting service for an extra fee, so guests can safely leave kids at the hotel while adults go out and explore on their own. Baby cots can be provided on request, and connecting rooms are handy for families travelling with older kids. Contact the hotel with your booking information in advance of your arrival if you'd like to book connecting rooms. Plus, the whole family can pack a little lighter with the hotel's laundry and dry-cleaning services offered for an extra fee.

The Novus City Hotel has a rooftop pool on the 8th floor terrace, which offers beautiful views of Athens. In particular, you'll be able to see Lycabettus Hill and the Acropolis. From April through to October, it's open day and night, so you can watch the Athens skyline light up in the evening. The pool is spacious and has a nearby bar where you can order drinks and finger food snacks. You can also relax on the sunbeds or enjoy a sit-down meal indoors.

The hotel is in an ideal location for public transport and is easily accessible from Athens International Airport. The simplest route is usually via the metro. You can take the M3 line from the airport to Syntagma. From this station, switch to the M2 line and take it to Metaxourgeio. This station is only around a 2-minute walk from the hotel. The whole trip will take roughly 55 minutes. You can also take the X95 bus from the airport to Syntagma Station before continuing on the M2 Line. The drive from the airport to the hotel takes around 40 minutes.
