Room accommodations excellent- friendly staff

Busy weekend in Asheville
Front desk staff were efficient and helpful. Close to local highway and downtown Asheville.
Fourth floor hall and room smelled like smoke and was distinctly unpleasant. Room was small for 2 adults. Noisy both day and night.
Great value during holiday traveling!
Nice but noisy
Nicely decorated hotel. Room was clean and updated.
Location is just off the highway and on the corner of a busy intersection. Traffic noise was very noticeable. Heater rattled when on, toilet filled every ten minutes.
Comfy room
Spacious bedroom, layout of room, great shower
Coffee was wretched. Getting a setting on the AC ...was either too hotor too cold
Not what was advertised
Nothing
Booked the room because of the large jetted tubs and rooms, but when we checked in that was not the case. Our room was so small you could barely walk around. When we went downstairs to ask about the room we were told that there were no more rooms available. At that point, we cancelled our reservation and went to another hotel.
The bathroom may have been a bit larger than most and everything worked. The stairwells were nicer, cleaner, and newer than the room Everything seemed to function normally
The hotel is right on top of a major four lane highway The hotel is not a lodge The hotel pool was small and not clean The spa was out of order The breakfast attendant had an attitude The hotel was not new, contrary to advertisement The furnishings were low quality There were no room amenities, such as lotion, etc. There were few item choices for breakfast The "reduced" rate for one equals two nights at a Comfort Inn, which is just about a notch above the level of this hotel
Convenient
Rooms were a bit shabby. No ice machine on the floor I was staying.
Not bad for the price
My fiance and I stayed in this hotel on our weekend getaway for our anniversary. We knew we would not spend much time in the room, so we chose something nice, but affordable. Hotel was quiet, even at night. Yes, it is close to the highway, but that is well known before booking the room. The room was very clean, smelled good, temperature controlled well. Location is not far from anything needed - grocery stores, convenient stores, restaurants, within 10 minutes from Biltmore, Blue Ridge Parkway, downtown Asheville - all the hot attractions. But, also not too busy since it was not located directly in the middle of a popular area. Very easy to find. Staff was generally very friendly - only 1 of the attendants was "not-so-great". Otherwise, provided what was needed with no problem (extra cups, new TV remote, towels). This would be a great spot for families to stay - Fun Depot within walking distance would be great for kids. Inside pool means year-round swimming capability. Quiet & clean.
At first, the TV would not work. But, if you read the back of the remote, it explains how to program the remote to work for that TV. Once programmed, everything worked fine. Only other negative was the pool. On Friday night, we were swimming until 12 AM - no problems. Then, when trying to enter on Saturday night around 10:30 once we got back from dinner, the attendant said the pool closes nightly at 10. Not sure what the difference was between Friday and Saturday, but... Also - the parking lot is a but small and set up oddly - was a little difficult to maneuver with a larger vehicle.
It was fine but left me wanting more
It wasn't bad, I just felt like for the money, it left me wanting more. Location was fine, not super close to downtown, but very convenient to I-40. Cleaning crew was very interactive and sweet. Great shower, water pressure and bathroom. Had a waffle maker. Great for families bc it has an indoor pool. Everything seemed really clean.
I went up hoping to have a really great weekend by myself and ended up paying $100 a night for a really tiny room. Probably the smallest I've been in. Internet was very slow. There was no floor length mirror in my room (I am female so this is important to me!) The A/C unit was a bit loud and kept me awake. Lots of kids. Parking lot was pretty dark. Close to highway so it was loud at night. Breakfast wasn't that great. No healthy options. (sugary cereal, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle maker, breakfast breads, juice and coffee) - no granola bars in the shop area- only chips sodas ice cream candy. Overall I really didn't feel like it was the best value for the money. I typically don't report negative things and am pretty accepting, but I just wish it had been a little better experience especially at this price point.
