Hip design, impeccably clean, and friendly helpful staff.
No elevator, so you need to carry your luggage up and down several tight corridors and stairs.
Cosy bar/diner in central location. Characterful unique design. Helpful and charming staff.
Tight for space, breakfast could be better.
i booked at short notice as the accommodation I was originally booked into was not fit for purpose. I knew it was going to be expensive due to the circumstances but was happy for the comfortable bed. the breakfast was buffet style, so easy and quick. I would book again if going back to Amsterdam due to the location (right next to Central Station) and would hopefully get a better deal by booking in advance.
The room was well equipped but small. But that is the architecture of the old buildings in Amsterdam. The stairs to the room were very steep.
Very kind staff & clean place
First they gave me a room without eneough ventilation, without air conditioning. Like a cave. I said I could not stay there so they gave me a nice room but I had to climb ( textually) 62 steps. How do they let an improvised hotel like that charge so much money without an elevator?
The staff were all super nice and helpful. I didn’t encounter a single person who wasn’t great! The location was also very convenient coming from the airport.
The walls are very thin and the bar is near where my room was so i could hear everything in the bar. Luckily I was so tired that I still fell asleep quickly but it would definitely be bothersome to some people.
