Location was perfect. It was quiet on the canal (the road was blocked off due to construction which helped with the quietness), but it was also approximately 2 blocks from nightlife.

Quaint and friendly
The rooms were not large but a good size for a hotel in an older building. The breakfast was nice. Enjoyed the option to have fried eggs or omelettes cooked to order. Check in was quick and all staff were friendly and accommodating. This hotel is in the museum district but a 30 minute walk from the train station and the harbour.

Housekeeping was different every day and came at different times. Most did not do much more than empty cans, one turned on the dishwasher for two glasses. The refrigerator did not stay cold.
