Location and quality room
VERY friendly and helpful staff. breakfast was served at a sensible time for being on holiday.
Excellent location, very welcoming and cosy with superb breakfast! Jane and Chris were very helpful.
No lift, but the staff immediately helped to carry luggage in room without us asking for help. Much appreciated.
Fabulous guest house - a home from home with the added luxuries. The owners were lovely and couldn't do enough for you and the breakfast was hugh and set you up till tea time!!. Would definately stay again and recommend to others.
Friendly, good facilites in room (tea and coffee making, Freeview tv), clean modern room and bathroom.A Very comfortable stay with no complaints.
There were no bad points 2 extremely small points - the water cup in the bathroom was taken away and not replaced though only 2 in room for a three night stay. I could have asked for 1 though, so no great problem. Second point, 8.30 is a late start if you are a serious walker! A lovely breakfast meant not getting away until 9.30 - by the time you drive to for example Langdale it is near to 10 o'clock. A bit late for a decent walk - would be worse when the nights draw in. An 8am option, even if restricted to buffet style - would be nice. Again, we could have asked, but not so important with fairly long days at present.
Accommodating, fiendly, relaxed, clean, good food, good quality accomm'
Rooms facing road partial to a bit of traffic noise, but saying that we are not used to traffic noise, would be fine for most i'm sure.
Room recently refurbished to high standard
Possibly the best breakfast I have ever had in a b & b! Worth the stay for that alone!
