Pros (+) Location for easy access to the metro and the diversions and restaurants on King Street.
Cons (-) My room was close to the back and ground floor. Consequently I was awakened by the early morning dumpster pickup.

Pros (+) I enjoyed my stay at Kimpton Lorien Hotel and Spa in Alexandria, VA. The hotel was conveniently located in Alexandria's Old Town neighborhood and a short uber ride from DC and Arlington. The hotel had the feel of a high end boutique hotel. My room was clean and the front desk staff members were helpful and friendly. There's a spa on site I unfortunately didn't get to visit during this stay however...
