In need of a renovation
Staff are friendly, specific requests taken care of promptly. Gift shop has legitimately nice jewelry and gifts. Elevators are prompt.
Bathrooms are tiny, barely vented, mismatched chipped paint, cracked lock, janky switch, just worn out. Chair doesn't rise high enough to use a laptop on the desk, no USB ports. I left a charger in the room and they couldn't find it later that day. Internet is really slow, even for basic web browsing. A number of restaurants and retail within walking distance but Albuquerque is one of the worst cities in the US to be a pedestrian. I would not choose to stay here but they seem to get a lot of conference business.
I personally think the price for the hotel is way to much if you don't get it at a discount. It's like 200$ a night. Im guessing because if the location. However the staff is amazing and I was there for a convention.
My room had a weird smell. Im not sure what it was. Kinda chemical smell. I could also go with out the duck feather filled pillows.
The hotel staff was very friendly. From the front desk, hotel bar, to the shuttle drivers, they all made sure of our needs. The hotel is right off the free way and walking distance from the mall and shops.
There is no free wifi in the rooms. Only in the lobby (a nice lobby though)
