Pros (+) Amazing hotel... Good staff, excellent facilities, service and food. Overall, a wonderful stay. The grounds are also beautiful, with access to a wonderful beach.
Cons (-) I wish the hotel was further to the east near Tavira/Vila Real. I know this is not the hotel's fault, but Albufeira was a bit of a hell hole over-run with the worst kind of package holidaymakers. With that said, you have everything you need at the hotel, so it should not be an issue.
