10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our host Alphonso, he was so accommodating and helpful with wonderful recommendations to visit . The Sicilian breakfast with his mother's homemade preserves were magnificent along with fresh croissant and other treats. We would highly recommend upgrading to the suite for a few euros more the spaciousness of the room and the magnificent view were well worth it. Be sure to walk and dine on the main Street in the evening you won't regret it. We will always remember the music playing as we ate our gelato
Cons: The city center ( which is where the property is located) is spectacular, but the outskirts and driving to the accommodation is a little questionable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Alfonso was a terrific host. After us getting lost and not finding the lodging, Alfonso came to get us on his scooter! Very nice of him. The apartment was in the 12 th floor with great views out the windows. Beds were nice and comfortable, a bit hard but comfy anyways. Breakfast was served in the morning in our private kitchen. Fresh pastries, bread with home made jams, yogurts. Very nice spread. Shower was excellent. The location was perfect.
Cons: Nothing to complain about. Maybe hooks in the bathroom to hang up towels.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Alfonso was a wonderful host. There are great views from the top apartment, and the property is right in the center of town. It is fantastic value. Easy access by car if one goes along the street below to the 8 Euro car park. The breakfasts were presented beautifully. It is not far to Favara, the archeological sites and the Turkish steps. '
Cons: The "sweet" breakfast option was a bit sweet for our tastes. A fruit option would be nice. Also it would be good if an electric jug was provided to boil water, along with cups (and ideally tea/coffee) for use in the room, not just at breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Passionate host. Clean, style, excellent location! Rich breakfast, lots of information given by the host. Very nice stay there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room on the 11th floor with plenty of space. Splendid views towards the sea. Free parking was difficult, but the underground car park for 8€ per night is very convenient. It is only a short walk to lots of very nice, good value restaurants. Alfonso was a good host. We enjoyed his breakfast and our conversations with him. The valley of Temples is a must to visit and is only a short distance away. Tip: Park at the bottom car park, take taxi (3€ each) to the top of the valley, and walk back.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: exellent location and veri frendly host
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Alfonso is very nice and helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: location, location, the view from the bedroom, the view from the livingroom, the owner. very easy to find a parking spot - which is a big plus. tip: stay on the balcony after midnight to have a perfect view of the city.

9.4 Excellent (780 reviews)
Overview Reviews

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views over the valley of the temples are amazing and I loved eating dinner and looking out over them all lit up at night. The room was comfortable and the animals didn't really make much noise so I wasn't disturbed. The pool looks out to the main temple which is very atmospheric. The family that run it are lovely and they even cooked dinner for all the guests in the evening which was delicious! Breakfast was full of local and homemade items some of which we had never had before but the owner explained it all to us (they speak a lot of languages so can help out lots of people). They also supply some snacks and drinks including wine and beer at the house so you don't have to drive down the long track to get supplies which was great for us as we were running low on water. Was the best accommodation of the whole trip!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was wonderful, a continental breakfast with a local flavor and fresh fruit and juice. The owners/staff retrieved us in a downpour and led us to the B & B. It's a delightful complex of rooms, outdoor eating areas with a view of the temples in the distance. It is actually in the archaelogical park. There are gardens, a swimming pool and peacocks walking around.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing setting in a wonderful garden with 3 major temples in sight. Salvatore was so friendly and welcoming as were the rest of his family. Breakfast was incredibly fresh and tasty, we loved it.
Cons: It was a little difficult to find but now we know for next time
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Vincenzo and his family were a wonderful encounter on our Sicilian journey. We were welcomed into their B&B with charm and grace by Salvatore. After settling in we adjourned to the spectacular front terrace and shared a wine or five with the other guests while watching the sun go down over the Valley of the Temples. After a wonderful sleep we packed up our gear and headed off to breakfast which was again on the terrace - Fresh juice, homemade yoghurt and jams and freshly baked cornettos - all from Vincenzo's cucina. Wonderful! Revived and happy we hit the road.
Cons: This was difficult for us to find - no sat nav and no idea how to find anything we eventually gave in and called Salvatore who came and rescued us and probably saved our marriage.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is beautiful and relaxing. The breakfast is great, taken on the terrace with a view of the Valley of the Temples and with peacocks wandering around the tables. If you don’t like animals it might not be the place for you. ,
Cons: Although bed comfort is subjective, our mattress was in dire need of replacement.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rustic luxury ! Incredible home made breakfast, beautiful grounds /views of valley of the Temples , family (who are also the staff) seemed genuinely friendly ,accommodating
Cons: Plastic cups/ aluminium foil dishes . Not very environmentally friendly
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hosts
Cons: Access tough on tires of a non off-roader
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice food, a lot is homemade, yogurt jams etc all enjoyed looking at the temples. Honesty bar for drinks, nice pool to dip in after hot drive. Friendly dogs and peacocks. Character rooms.
Cons: Drive down track awkward if you meet someone coming up as we did
5.3 Okay
Pros: good location in pleasant surroundings
Cons: rather small room
6.7 Good
Pros: perfect location for viewing together all three major temples in the Valley of Temples, especially at night when the monuments are lit. Lovely country location, quite close (by car on dirt country road to main road) to restaurants and main attractions. Lovely relaxing atmosphere, breakfast on terrace facing monuments in the company no cons for us- of family pets, farm animals and gorgeous peacocks. Owners were very friendly and helpful and even came to our rescue when we missed our way despite the detailed directions sent to us - it was already dark and we had not taken the most traveled route into Agrigento. We still like using maps and relying on our ability of travelers when traveling than using the ever more popular GPS.
Cons: Though it may need more work and organization perhaps the owners might consider offering the choice - ONLY to their guests - of a pre-ordered one-size- fits -all typical, simple, Sicilian family style meal in the evening. Our room was more like an apartment with a very interesting antique kitchen with a table for computer work and a very private back patio. Unfortunately one wall of the bedroom backed to the goat pen and one night the goats began to bleat and it was quite uncomfortable. Had the pen been further away from the house it would not have been a problem as there was no problem with the roosters of the neighboring properties.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything except the parking restriction.
Cons: It is in ZTL. No problem to park just downstair as the hotel has a pass to be displaced in the car. I was told at 9:40am the next day that the pass was valid until 10am. The hotel check out time is by 10:30, but we needed to rush to check out by 10am.

Pros: The hosts were very helpful and the room and hotel was very clean. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was perfect and on a cool terrace overlooking the temples and sea just as their advertising said.
Cons: I should have asked which way to walk from the bus station. We did not expect the place to be so perfectly located (that is, we expected a longer walk than stated but did not know which road to take). Actually had no picture of the town to match to maps. You walk downhill to where the action seems to be.

The rooms and house are very elegant and it is a joy to sit on the terrasse and watch the sun go down while enjoying a glass of wine. Within few minutes of driving you get to Agrigento and the temples . We‘d love to come back
Cons: For our taste the beds could be softer but we haven’t really found this yet in Italy The outside of the villa isn’t very inviting but given the climate and water situation, totally understandable!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: exquisite service and attention in a superb house....a nice experience
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Surroundings instantly give a countryside vibe, house is gigantic and decorated in a vintage italian style. Everything was very clean, room was spacious and beds were comfortable, and most of all the view was absolutly divine. We loved chilling on the terrasse, sitting in the big chairs, watching over the land, the goats and the trees. Breakfast was served in a magnificient room, everything was fresh and delicious (you'll get to try peruvian green fresh eggs). A special thanks to our hosts, who were adorable and gave us plenty of advices and history background on the area.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Villa Athena is your best choice if you want to enjoy the Valley of temples at its best! I had asked for a room just facing the Concordia temple before arriving, but unfortunately I was given a room from which we could not see the temple from the window. I went to reception and the staff solved the problem right away by giving me a great room with the view. The villa offers private access to the Valley which is just great.

Cons: The bed was a bit firm for my taste.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional grounds with a spectacular view of the Temple Concordia.
Cons: The onsite restaurant enjoys a spectacular view of the Greek temples at night. The wait staff is first class and the service is white glove. That said, the food is very skimpy and very expensive, I had Gnocchi and all SIX of them on a very large platter sized plate was tasty but not satisfying. I don't mind spending money for a good meal but there I walked away hungry!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Close location to temples of Agrigento.
Cons: Complimentary coffee in the room was only 1 shot of Nescafe for a 2 day stay.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It locates on center of city. Therefore, you are easy to find good restaurants nearby. Staff is also friendly and explain anything what we concern.
Cons: The separate building we lived is perfect but no elevator.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Really comfy bed. Beautiful view of the sea and Valley of the Temples from the room. The hotel has a deal with a nearby parking lot so that you can leave the car there for a small fee and exit/enter the parking lot as much as you like; this is great! Driving in Agrigento is a bit of a pain and being able to leave your car right next to the hotel is a big relief. Also the centre of the city is within walking distance.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't amazing, we would've liked a bit more variety or higher quality stuff. All in all, considered all the other positive things, it isn't a deal breaker, but for what we paid we were expecting a better breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Wonderful living experience at this hotel!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous eclectic decor, very friendly and helpful staff. Right in the middle of the historic centre, great views to the Med and Valley of the Temples!

Pros: Area was close to our previous accommodation so we knew the area.
Cons: Mosquitos in the bedroom, and to have breakfast was extra - shou l d not be called a B&B if the breakfast is not included in the the tariff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spent just one night here but the room was fantastic and the location too :)
7.1 Good
Pros: The bed as comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: There was no view, unless you like concrete. The shower head holder was bust.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Well run. Owners were very helpful.
Cons: Public parking is blocks away so had to haul bags. The hotel does have a parking discount ticket which made is very reasonably priced.
6.5 Good
Pros: Where was Waldo?
Cons: The owner left off the correct address of the location. Someone must correct the address which needs to include the name Giovanni on the street address. We had a very difficult time locating the place. The owner of the facility was not around to answer questions. She left shortly after our arrival and did not return until breakfast the following day. The breakfast was unappealing and limited. We had no internet service in the morning. In addition, the the bathroom lacked soap for showering and washing up.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything. We were advised to go through previous reviews and we weren’t disappointed. The couple couldn’t do enough for us and the house is lovely
Cons: No eateries nearby so you will need a car
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This must be the best B&B in town. The owner is fantastic. She gives good advice on sights. The room was large and comfortable. The location is excellent. Very close to the old centre of the city, just outside the really narrow streets. Street parking is possible. The nearby public parking is better. Good breakfast. There is a good African/Sicilian fusion restaurant close by.
Cons: Our GPS had problems finding a good route and the location is in a steep and narrow one way lane.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Located on the edge of the historic center of Agrigento, this B&B has a very friendly owner and a pleasant interior design. The window of the room overlooks a small yard with fruit trees and a view of the Valley of the Temples in the distance. The breakfast (served from 8:45 to 10) was very good. The Valley of the Temples and the Archaeological Museum are spectacular.
Cons: We stayed here in January and found the room a bit cold (even more so than other places in Sicily at this time), yet the owner later told us that we could have set the air-conditioning to heating mode (we had tried to do so but without success). We also didn't like the town of Agrigento very much, as it was quite dirty and uninteresting despite the high rating given to it by Michelin (perhaps this impression was due to the fact that almost all the sights were closed in winter and could be seen only from the outside). The streets are very narrow, steep (many of them are staircases), and full of cars.

Cons: Bed too hard.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts were delicious with the perfect mix. The garden and view are beautiful and the location perfect for both the Valley of the Temples and a delightful beach down the cliff.
Cons: The bar and wine were more expensive than even in the centre of Marsala old town. The half board deserts were a huge disappointment as they were not homemade. It was hard to find, although once you know where it is it is easy. The sat nav could not find the road.

Pros: Pool great. Room great. Breakfast good.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were spacious and clean. Our room had a sepate room for the children which gave us privacy. The pool was great and staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is near the valley of temples which was handy.
Cons: Both rooms we used had ant infestation. The restaurant food was not good at all and the cost was not in line with the poor quality. The breakfast was okay but the hot food was not tasty either. The hotel is situated on a busy main road.
7.5 Good
Pros: The pool area was very nice, and nice personal
Cons: Pool is closed during lunch time and airco was not optimal

9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was a nice surprise, I am satisfied in overall. In particular I appreciated the hotel design, the confortable free parking outside, the large and confortable room and bathroom, the pool and the resturant inside the hotel. Nice welcome with a free bottle of Sicilian wine in the room on arrival.
Cons: I would suggest to add boiler for coffee and tea in the room. There is a bar in the hall however. The gym would make it perfect.

7.5 Good
Pros: good location, free parking area with cover, good food and breakfast mostly made out of agriculture products. Family run business, Good and comfortable room.
Cons: At the time of our stay Internet was not available due to power cut, Owners could do nothing about it as it was beyond their capabilities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved Manuel and Marzia. They were very nice and provided an excellent stay. We loved the farm and Manuel told us about his olive trees and gave us a taste of his wonderful lemoncello. The dinner made by their mom was top notch and I would love to eat there again. We loved that all ingredients are natural, locally sourced(mostly from their own farm!).
Cons: It would use a bigger sign by the road so it is easier to find.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and dinner were fresh and very tasty. Wonderful cooking and great wine.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place to stay, very helpful staff. The dinner was excellent and very good value.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Idyllic agriturismo surrounded by olive trees. The rooms are basic, clean and comfortable. The terrace is beautiful and perfect for a little relax and a read. You should really book dinner here - you will get authentic delicious Sicilian food at an affordable price (25 Euro pp for 3 courses and wine at the time of writing), you will also meet fellow travelers at the big family dinner table.
Cons: Nothing really. Some reviews complain about the street but it's in the nature of agriturismos that they are in the country side where you won't find a freshly tarred 6-lane highway. If you cannot manage that road you gonna get into more trouble driving in Sicily.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view, very clean, nice atmosphere! Very friendly and helpful owner! Dinner was excellent!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, friendliness of the host, the scenery and the delicious dinner and breakfast
Cons: nothing
6.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good and the hosts made dinner for us each evening - which is just as well as there is nowhere near to eat and the location is not easy to find. Otherwise rather disappointing
Cons: No internet while we were there which was very inconvenient. Location not great. Not what I think of as an agriturismo - more like a b&b out of town

Pros: Hostess were very kind and helped with any requests. The location is nice - 5 min from train station and 10 min from bus station. They gave me the most silent room and I slept very good.
Cons: Breakfast consists from all sweet stuff: cookies, croissants, yogurts, fruits. Would be great to have some salty stuff, like crackers or ham/cheese.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room, lovely family! The daughter of the house impressed us (helped us check-in), she was very professional, especially for her age. Breakfast was amazing. Very homely. Would definitely recommend!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were beautiful, friendly, gracious people who went out of their way to see we were comfortable. The location was perfect and we found it easy enough to get a park in our rented car. We had to leave early on our last morning to drop our hire car at Palermo airport and they provided us with a breakfast to take with us. Thankyou again. The breakfast was abundant and we had the best and freshest bread and croissants we have had in our 4 weeks travelling in Italy so far. You are to be recommended on your attention to this detail and we can tell you it is appreciated. The coffee was also great!
Cons: Our only complaint was lack of hangers or hanging space for wet towels. Maybe this could add a touch to make it even more comfortable.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very quirky and in keeping with Sicilian tradition. Perfectly situated in a lovely spot. Great value stay.
Cons: Nothing.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, next to Agrigento's city hall. Extremely polite staff. They offered us drinks and cakes when we arrived. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable room and big bathroom. Water in the fridge is for free. The B&B doesn't have a parking but you can park for free in a parking lot nearby. Only 10 min by car to reach Valle dei Templi.
Cons: Nothing.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was good, the room was big enough and the bed was comfy. There was a free car park close to the hotel. The room was cleaned daily.
Cons: The breakfast was very poor and the products were not added during the breakfast, so those who came 20-30 minutes after the breakfast has started had little or no choice. Even at the exact time when the breakfast has started, there were only few pieces of ham and cheese and few rolls and once they were gone - that was it...no more... There were 2 ladies ''looking after'' the guests during the breakfast and they were serving the coffee - but we found them annoying - they were chatting among themselves, eating and drinking and generally pacing around the breakfast room; although there were more tables than the rooms - they very loudly cleaned the tables as soon as someone finished, making lots of unnecessary hustle - it made us and other guest feel uncomfortable. The reception was not manned most of the time. There was no hairdryer in the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great room and welcome with drink and mini pizza! Lights complicated set up and broken shower control. Overall very good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is absolutely charming and was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotels are so wonderfully situated next to the beautiful Piazza Luigi Pirandello. I was surprised how easy it was to find despite crooked streets of the city. Parking is complementary in a garage about 50 m down below the plaza.
Cons: It was all good. My favorite hotel in Sicily so far!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: • Parking Place is safe and only 2 min. from the hotel. • Nice room and it’s so clean. • Easy to get to the sightseeing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location and easy parking arrangement nearby - free. Very theatrical interior design - chandeliers, sequins, multi-coloured lights - but extremely comfortable, quiet, and a very special location. Helpful staff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was exactly as described, but this place is all about the fantastic location. The breakfast was great, as were the staff.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: All of the staff were very attentive and helpful. The location was excellent to go the the valley. The meals at the hotel were very good, lots of choices and freshly prepared.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location is very good for visiting Agrigento's Valle dei Templi. The staff were helpful and nice.
Cons: The rooms were clean, but the common areas, not so much, especially the carpet at the entrance to the hotel. We had dinner there and it was expensive and not very good, not tasty. We made a comment to one of the waitresses about this and she said she'd fix it, then came back and said an extra plate of fried seafood was coming. It was very gracious of her, but we actually didn't want to eat any more; we would have preferred a discount on our bill. We tried to ask her to cancel the order but she wouldn't hear of it. We know she was trying to fix it in the best way she could, and we appreciate that. Breakfast items were fine, but the service was very disorganised.
7.9 Good
Pros: good location and wonderful garden, lots of choice breakfast buffet menu.
Cons: Small bathroom

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the pool, the service and the food!
Cons: It was all great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service very helpful, especially Francesco in reception.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This was the first and last good hotel of my trip in Sicily. A real 4 stars hotel, with excellent service, location, staff and facilities. The bedroom was rather very comfortable, though perhaps a little small. Bathroom very complete and clean (perhaps in need of some maintenance). I appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the receptionist/concierge, who was very helpful. We dined at the restaurant, which was not bad, though perhaps not the best. Still, very good service. Finally the location is amazing, so close to the Valley of Temples which is a must-a-see!
Cons: Ultimately all was great. The only thing I noticed was the fact that the toilet seat was broken, which is something that I would expect to be checked by housekeeping. Also there was some kind of leak from the ceiling right outside of our room, which seemed to be from an aircon pipe (condensation water).
