It was walking distance to tram last and easy Amex it to Melbourne
A lot of things in the room needed attention, lighting was poor, Wasn’t private in room including no privacy whatsoever on Balcony had to keep curtains drawn. Too much noise from adjoining two rooms.
All O K
Not too far from the tram and within the last free stop which was good, but nothing really directly around the accommodation to do and see.
Road outside noisy and rooms not well insulated, heard a lot of street noise and noise from other rooms, hall. Told staff about spider web above bed, but wasn't removed. Staff not knowledgeable about buses etc.
Pool was excellent as was the location.
Smoking was allowed in the pool area, very disappointed that smokers were allowed while children were playing in the pool. Should be a smoke free area. There was a big ugly stain on the inside of the quilt, the bathroom was tiny with the toilet in front of the vanity unit. Parking was very tight, one time the only spot I could get I had to get out of the car via the back passenger side door! There was a balcony but not private, all rooms could walk along in front of other rooms, there were no chairs on the balcony to sit and enjoy the view. Very disappointing.
Comfortable beds; plenty of space in the room. When we complained about noise from the next room, the staff invited us to move to another room on the same floor, which happened to be a suite.
Some minor problems: slightly shabby with scuff marks on door frames; no extractor fan in bathroom; plumbing sometimes a bit noisy; fridge temperature control knob broken.
