The location was nice on a waterfront with couple of fancy restaurants nearby. The city itself is only about 5-7 Minutes by car. Parking was very easily accessible. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Great location & a decent breakfast.
On our way back home from holiday we spontaneously decided to stay overnight in Zadar. Friendly welcome by lady at reception, clean room that had everything we needed, including (free) towels and basic breakfast. Very recommendable for people travelling on low budget.
Can’t think of anything, but for longer stays it would be nice if there was a community kitchen.
Guys at the helpdesk were polite and helpful.
Was made to sign up (was told it was compulsory) to youth hostel association and were charged a membership fee on arrival, they also have you pay for each 'welcome' stamp (it's one per night, per person) + city tax. This charge is not explicitly outlined in there price summary which was not very nice! The room was not very clean and the bathroom walls and floor looked 'maybe clean but old' at the very best. Breakfast was boiled eggs, cold bread, cheese and ham slices with and some spreads (honey, butter, hazelnut spread and jam) + a coffee/hot water machine.
Ivan and the reception team gave us a really nice welcome, so thank you, also very pleasant and helpful through our stay. The facilities were good and complimentary breakfast always a bonus. Close to several beaches outside of the busy Zadar.
Maybe use of bicycles to ride into th old town and surrounding area.
