Guests consistently praise the hotel's excellent location, especially its proximity to ski slopes and beautiful natural surroundings. Cleanliness is highlighted, with many mentioning tidy rooms and well-maintained facilities despite the property's age. Breakfast and meals are generally well received, with variety and local flavors appreciated, though a few guests noted some inconsistencies. Amenities such as onsen, activities for families, and entertainment options are frequently mentioned as positives, making the hotel enjoyable even in bad weather. Service is described as friendly and helpful, with staff often going out of their way to assist guests. Some criticisms include the age of the building, occasional issues with bedding comfort, and minor inconveniences with facilities and staff attitudes, but overall, the positives outweigh the negatives.
