Hotel Diana Jogja

The hotel is in a great location. Many good restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms are nice enough - comfortable beds. Good value for the price. Breakfast was fine, nothing too special. Restaurant food was pretty good.

The only real issue we had was there were many families with young children staying at the hotel and there were very loud children in the courtyard by the restaurant and pool day and night. We were woken up by screaming children at 6:30am almost every day. There were children running around and yelling loudly right outside our door at 11:30pm one night. We had to ask to be moved to a room not on the first floor to try to get away from the noise but it really did not help - not much quieter on the higher floors as all rooms face the courtyard. This is not the hotel’s fault but it was pretty annoying and made us not want to hang out at the hotel. It felt like a noisy daycare rather than a hotel at times. Not sure if that is always the case perhaps we just had bad timing/luck? Who knows but too bad because everything else was good.

Good service at Front Desk, big decent room, strategic location

The pool and the location of the hotel were nice, few minutes away from Malioboro by car, breakfast buffet was okay

The staff couldn‘t speak English, the bathroom was not that clean
