Pros: We stayed in a family room in the hostel part - grandparents, parent and 3 pre-schoolers. The room was perfect. The beds were very comfy, with lovely linen and duvets. The ensuite bathroom was bigger than most hotel ensuites. . The large communal kitchen was exceptionally clean and well equipped. The children adored the very spacious interesting grounds.

Pros: We stayed in a family room in the hostel part - grandparents, parent and 3 pre-schoolers. The room was perfect. The beds were very comfy, with lovely linen and duvets. The ensuite bathroom was bigger than most hotel ensuites. . The large communal kitchen was exceptionally clean and well equipped. The children adored the very spacious interesting grounds.
Cons: Seriously? Nothing. This is a family-run enterprise and Alice and her family are doing a wonderful job.

Pros: It felt like a friendly place and with a home feel.
Cons: This is likely just related to the other guests at the time, but my only night there was spent with a busy and dirty kitchen because the other guests were cooking and severely burning a lot of fish and meet. All of the communal spaces were filled with thick smoke, which should have let off smoke alarms but I heard none. I wish staff had been present to witness. For someone who has respiratory challenges, this made me avoid cooking dinner or meeting anyone, to avoid the thick smoke (which lasted all evening). Also one toilet, one shower.

Pros: Very hospitable and the staff was nice. Checking in in here was easy and we felt very welcomed. Person at front desk shook our hands and gave us the tour of the hostel. 5/5. The breakfast was a nice bonus.

Pros: The owners(?) Were super friendly. I was checking out and asked if I needed to do anything to check out and the Matt stuck his hand out and said a shake is all i need. Super nice guy. They have a garden with picnic tables and some animals including ducks and a deer

Cons: Not enough charging places for phones in the dorm etc. for everyone (near the beds at least)

Cons: There really wasn't a lounge area. So in order to stretch out and relax you had to lay in your bed. There were also a ridiculous amount of flies. Not that the hostel can really control that
