Nice old school look and very comfortable.
Most impressive was the friendliness of staff. Always a cheery greeting. Enjoyed our chats with Neville. Like to apolagise for mixup over credit card number. We will most surely stay with you when we next visit Wanganui.
Value for money, centrally located, helpful staff. Enjoyed listening to Kareoke competition.
Nice and handy to the CBD, quaint and comfortable
Soap dispenser in the bath leaked, looked a bit odd!
lovely old lady a bit tired but the staff and service make up for that, rooms were clean and tidy.
the smell, unfortunately dispite being clean and tidy old hotels do tend to smell a bit musty. I hadnt read your guest reviews about this hotel befor I booked my stay.
we were made very welcome by the friendly and helpful staff. The bar meal was very delicious, and we were able to make use of the family restaurant area when we had family visit us. great service thank you.
lovely place to stay, just a little bit tired looking
I liked that this hotel was central to the main street of town and you could walk to the shops. The lady who greeted us was really lovely.
I thought that the continental breakfast included in the accommodation price was poor. We were told that the breakfast was worth $15 but all it was was cereal (muesli, weetbix or rice bubbies), canned fruit, toast, tea and coffee. It would have cost the hotel $5 if that.
Comfortable room, quiet, excellent location in heart of cdb.
Pub on premises closed one night - couldn't eat there. I was not told when I arrived that this was going to happen.
Hotel selected because of its location in relation to what we wished to do in Wanganui. Good food and drink available on site. Tea/coffee making facilities in room. Guest parking. Breakfast within tarrif.
One tap - over hand basin - needed a strong hand to turn it off.
