Location is great, close to restaurants, CBD and everything you need.
A lot of Street noise so sleeping difficult on Friday and Saturday night.
Location was great but a very average hotel.
I guess you get what you pay for. It was pretty shabby and actually overpriced for what it was. I only stayed there because everything else was booked.
The location was fine, in the Te Aro district, well-located on Victoria Street and close to the main parts of the city. Extremely handy to the city hall, square, and Te Papa.
The hotel had a limited range of services, although one could walk a block to another Mercure, which had a bar and restaurant. There was a reception desk staffed all the time. The room was rather incomplete - a renovation not yet completed perhaps, and rather expensive for what was provided.
Location was perfect allowing us to walk everywhere. Staff were pleasant and helpful and room had all we needed and was clean and comfortable
Difficult to find, no parking on site. Terrible wifi in bedrooms. Unable to use balcony without asking staff??
Mercure Wellington Central City Hotel & Apartments is located in the heart of the city, offering modern, self-contained and spacious accommodation. The One Bedroom Suites have a separate lounge, dining/workdesk and kitchenette (on request only). Some of these rooms also have stunning views over Wellington City and its harbour. The Two Bedroom Suites have an even bigger floor space with a large open plan lounge, dining and full kitchen facilities, which leads to two double bedrooms and a bathroom.
