Vilnius hostels

Cons: -water is so small, if there is someone next to it, it get even worse. and so cramped in ALL space, maybe only suitable for backpackers who is on budget

Pros: The fresh croissants every morning was a complete treat!

Pros: Very good location and nice room. Had a wonderful stay

Cons: The water pressure in the showers was very bad. Especially when there’s someone else showering as well.

Pros: The receptionist was amazing and let me keep my bag a few hours after check out since my flight was late. It was amazing and I really appreciated.

Pros: The staff was really nice and friendly, and also shared stories with the tourists! He makes the place felt cozy and just like home ;-)

Pros: Very kindly staff , lot of cool stuff in the hostel and services . In the city center , I highly recommend

Pros: - Shower with good pressure and hot water; - Lockers available (but bring your own padlock or buy one at the hostel) and they had power plug inside; - Free waffles for breakfast everyday; - Beds with curtain which is great for privacy; - Comfortable common area with games available; - Friendly and helpful staff; - Great location, easy to find; - WiFi works perfectly.

Cons: - Only one bathroom available inside room for 10 people and only one outside the room, which can be a problem during high season (but was ok during my stay); - Very thin pillow.

Pros: - friendly staff - good location - cosy communal area - good recommendations for activities including driving a tank.

Cons: - uncomfortable mattress - poor pillows -filthy floors in private room and shower area not cleaned properly - bedding didn't appear to be changed from previous owner - manky liquid inside fridge

Pros: Very good central location Lots of charging points Curtains around beds 24hr kitchen Breakfast waffles, bar facilities, toasties etc Lots of organised activities

Cons: Dorm rooms were very dark Bathroom smelt bad

Pros: It was easy to find, staff was really friendly, walking around with socks makes it feel more cozy, the bar is cool

Cons: In the rooms there are no bedlights or tables, beds seem really old and with every movement I was scared to break it, at 2 from 5 showers is a big window without a curton so the neighbour can easily watch you while showering (or drying off yourself)

Pros: The staff was super very polite. The room was big and warm. The small kitchenette was a huge bonus.

Cons: It was very cold in the room and it came water from the roof when you just the toalett.

Pros: The service hostel tried to keep everyone happy, but it was impossible in the such place.

Cons: - dirty place, dirty WC, dirty shower, old and destroyed bedlines. Everywhere hairs and fungus.

Pros: Rather comfortable conditions with a refrigerator, microwave and kitchenware. The location is also nice, close to the railway/bus stations, several minutes to the Gate of Dawn. Generally, a good hostel for the money you'll pay.

Cons: We faced with the not very pleasant situation - initially I made a reservation for 2 adults and our 2-years-old child in the triple room (with 3 separate beds). In the last minute we decided not to take our child with us and in order not to have a spare bed and overpay money for the room we invited our friend to stay with us. I didn't make any changes to the reservation as I didn't find an option to adjust the "child" guest to the "adult" one, and I didn't want to cancel booking and book the room once again as the overall sum most likely would've been increased (initially I made a reservation back in summer). When we arrived for check-in, a lady in the reception started to explain me that there were 2 adults in my reservation and the administration changed my room to Twin Room instead of Triple. I asked her - why you didn't let me know then? and she responded - well, you didn't let us know as well too. We argued for a while, then she told something like - with 2-years-old child you'd have slept in 2 beds without any issues. But I can't agree with that, since our child is sleeping separately all the time and it's not comfortable to sleep 3 people in 2 beds. That's the reason I initially booked TRIPLE room with 3 beds, not 2. And I don't like at all that the hostel decided something for me, changed my booking and even didn't drop me any message on this regard. Luckily, we had a friend in the same hostel and he was staying in a twin room alone, so he had a free bed - and one of us could stay at his room. For the rest of the group (me and my wife) we were offered a twin room for 1 night. For the second night we were promised to have a triple room as we initially wanted to. Also, the administration compensated our inconveniences - they paid a city tax for us plus gave us back 5 euros and our friend got back 10 euros as well.

Pros: Place of hostel. Staff was friendly.

Cons: It was pretty cold in the room

Pros: Personal of the hostel found an option for us to sleep in dormitory rooms. Even, if dormitory rooms were not where we wanted to spend the night, it was still solution for the problem. Gladly, additional discount was also offered.

Cons: When we arrived in the evening, our confirmed booking was not respected. Initially booking.com was blamed for not transmitting information about bookings fast enough. When we showed the confirmation by the hostel, personal started to find alternative solutions to accommodate us.

Cons: 1. Rooms are small and cramped - maybe there are too many beds in them. 2. The double-deck beds are insecure - they are rickety and shaking dangerously when you are on the upper deck. If one person moves in the bed, the other person is being shaked as well. 3. The bed linen they give are worn out  and torn in some places. 4. The towel costs extra 1.5 Eur. 5. I had reserved a bed for two nights. After the first night, right from the early morning I left the hostel and was absent during the day. In the evening, when I returned to the hostel I learned that my room was changed to another one without asking my agreement. I found my stuff in a rubbish bin! When I was already lying in the bed in the new room I was called out to the reception and was asked to pay extra because my room was changed from an 8-bed room to a 4-bed room.

Cons: It's not clean! It's a hostel but it has to be clean! The beds are uncomfort really I know this is a hostel but no! The staff cannot speak english! The room in where I stayed was very cold no heat conditioners i couldn't even sleep because of the cold ! The only thing that I like the lady in reception even cannot speak english i like her smiling face! But closed to the old town . I'm sorry but I cannot give a high rate

Pros: The woman who stayed at the reception was polite, kind, friendly. Even if we couldn’t speak the same language she acted like a mother with me since I was alone. I really recommend this Hostel.

Pros: The price

Cons: The price being very low, the quality of the service and the cleanliness were awful! & The rooms are very noisy...

Pros: The location is nice. There was inside (yard) parking. All in all it's a sketchy place.

Cons: The bathroom was very dirty, staff didn't speak English but I suppose it's because we were there on NY eve and maybe the receptionists were not the usual staff. I wouldn't call it a cheap place either.
