Location is central Faced canal Good restaurant
Location was good, close by the main attractions. Water bus stop opposite. Pretty looking hotel.
Breakfast was poor. Scrambled eggs awful as were the sausages and warm ham. Bread rolls were stale. Booked room one up from basic, it was small and overlooked a busy alley and was right by the staff stock cupboard so always noisy outside the door. Informed them it was my wife's birthday on booking but was not acknowledged in any way. Area outside very busy with cruise liner groups causing congestion. Not worth the almost £250 per night we paid for the room! Didn't feel it was worth complaining about as was told hotel was fully booked!
They brought extra tp, a wine opener to our door. Loved the patio!
The stairs in the room, i didn’t book the one with the stairs.
Convenient location to transportation. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided a great start to the day. Room was clean and quiet.
Tourist crowds during the day. Room was small; tight for two carry-on pieces of luggage.
Great location, along the canal, very near to Palazzo Ducale and Piazza San Marco, staff were excellent
There are so many great cities in Italy, but few cities bring so much unique atmosphere to travelers the way Venice does. The Venetian atmosphere is perhaps the most exotic of all Italy. With influences from Eastern Europe and a long history of trading with the Arab world, Venice is truly in a class all its own. And then the canals. Staying in Venice can be a bit tricky, but the key is to find a hotel that displays a proper sense of Italian hospitality. Service is very important, but so is having a room with an amazing view. In providing great amenities, excellent service, and a truly unique place to see Venice, the Hotel Savoia & Jolanda checks all the boxes.
When checking in to the Hotel Savoia & Jolanda, guests are immediately impressed with how authentically Venetian the hotel is. From its location on the banks of a canal and the beautiful piazza surrounding it, there’s no mistaking that guests are right in the heart of Venice. The staff at the hotel are quite happy to help guests. For travelers who aren’t Italian, Venice is confusing. The staff make sure that guests have everything they need quickly. The high-speed internet is available at no cost to the guest, and when arriving in the room, the views are to die for. It only gets better when collapsing onto the comfortable mattress after a long day of experiencing the best in Italian culture.
Staying at the Hotel Savoia & Jolanda is a great way to experience one of Italy’s great cities.
