The kindness of the staff, the cleanliness, the silence
Value for money, but I know ... it is in Venice
The hotel was perfectly situated in a quieter area near the lovely Piazza Maria Formosa but within a few minutes from St. Marks and the Rialto. We had our own family apartment with two double rooms, perfect for a family with older children.
The beds were very hard but everything else was perfect and the staff were lovely
friendly reservations staff, rather close to the st. Marco square. Goof breakfast buffet
Room on 3rd floor without an elevator, Smallest shower we have ever experienced. In Dutch: je kan je gat niet keren :) Although hotel prices in venice are very expensive the price/quality ratio of this room (313) was not good
The location was close to the Piazza San Marco.
Did not like having to walk to the 3rd floor - no elevator. Shower was tiny. If you drop the soap, you're out of luck. Also, I did not request 2 bedrooms. I just asked for a 3rd bed. We paid a lot of money, and it was not worth it.
It was a lovely friendly hotel, based on a quiet street. The rooms were spotless and quite spacious. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel
Ideal location; easy to find from the boat taxi and a map; nice staff and nice breakfast. Close to good food!
International hotel without air; so with windows open a bit loud but not bad. No lift to upper floors, which was expected.
being in Venice
We had stayed at Hotel Al Piave before and were very pleased with our stay and chose to stay there again. Their staff was very helpful. Breakfasts were wonderful. Very close to San Marco and Rialto, centrally located.
Friendly and very helpful staff, perfect breakfast, causy room, good location.
The only thing I could mention is that sound isolation is not enough to protect you from your neighbours' loud talking and coughing.
With a stay at Hotel al Piave, you'll be centrally located in Venice, within a 5-minute walk of Bridge of Sighs and St. Mark's Square. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and luggage storage.
