The front desk employee was very helpful, courteous and efficient. We were traveling on I-70, so the location was great. The room was clean.
Comfortable stay for the price and pet friendly
The suite was extremely clean and felt like an apartment with its private covered porch. The building is older but that is what gives it its charm. It is well maintained and the staff are friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable; much better than a typical hotel bed.
Since I arrived at night, the surrounding area outside the hotel is not very well lit so it made it a little difficult to figure out which entrance to use for registration. Since it is an older building, the entrances are not set up like chain hotels, so it took a little navigating the halls to find the registration desk. It could have been that I was really tired though from driving 10 hours that day.
Not a cookie cutter hotel
Former apartment building redone as a hotel. A couple blocks west of the state capitol. Concur with other reviews, not so promising from the outside, but well done inside. Lightly occupied over a weekend.
Loved the private balconies. The beds were very comfy and breakfast was delicious.
Location and every room had a view!
Would have liked more options at breakfast.
Great location for down town
The location is walking distance from the capitol.
Fitness equipment was decent but minimal. Probably plenty for most folks but I have high expectations.
