Close to the city center and railway station. Friendly staff.
No lift. We were asked to move to another floor due to the receptionist mistake and had to carry 2 heavy bags ourselves.
My accommodation was excellent for the price I paid (52 Euros for a suite - 3 pax). It was spacious, clean and had a jacuzzi as well as sauna in the suite! Obviously this is hardly normal for 52 Euros a night! I did not notice any services but I was only there overnight. However, the area is rough and rundown and immediately outside is a massive building site. However, I already knew this as I had done research online before booking. It suited me as I was able to have high class accommodation which I could not, otherwise, afford. In fact, I did not expect it to be so good so we were delighted. The desk staff spoke perfect English and were most helpful.
The bedroom curtains were very thin and the floodlights immediately outside for protection of the adjacent building site shone through, preventing me from sleeping. Clients should be warned that there is no lift. I was not bothered as I knew I was getting better accom. than my budget would allow for.
I am dumbstruck at some of the reviews the hotel has. It was recommended to me by a friend who stayed in June. Large room with a 32 inch LCD TV and fast internet connection. I would have given the hotel four stars if breakfast had more variety but for a three star hotel with the best price guaranty it's a solid 10/10.
To me the two most important things in the hotel is CNN International and a good internet connection. If you want/need a fast connection ask for a room near a WiFi Access Point when you make your reservation. I had to move as my first room was in the end of the corridor and internet was slow.
Good location for our purposes and excellent staff - particularly at reception
Very helpful staff
Smell in bathroom because nt trap on basin waste pipe
Nice hotel at city center ideal for a week-end at Sofia. Very clean with very polite personnel. Very pleasant stay with comfortable & clean rooms. I would recommend it to my friends.
I would recommend to improve the service time in the restorant of the hotel.
The room was amazing. It was more like an American hotel than many of the other ones I've stayed in lately.
The price? But you get what you pay for.
Room not cleaned bathroom ceiling full of mildew due to damp bath plug not working breakfast poor
