Loved the ambiance and character of the hotel!
Location was great, staff was pleasant, and the room was large in comparison to other downtown hotels I’ve stayed at. They allowed us to check in early which allowed us to start our family Seattle adventure earlier. All in all was a great stay.
No valet/garage parking for larger vehicles, so we had to go to the meter 3 times during our stay to avoid a parking ticket. No food options for children. No elevator (a lot of stairs after a long day of walking around Seattle).
Great location, great staff, nice old style room.
No elevator and we were on the third floor, going up and down those damned stairs.
The decor/design of the atrium as well as the rooms is unique and enjoyable. Good choices for food nearby, though it's a healthy walk from the main attractions of downtown. Room was kept clean.
Staff were abrupt and did not seem at all concerned about making guests feel welcomed/valued. The manager (I believe) was out later offering wine and some information, which was a nice touch at least. Valet parking is exceptionally expensive and very inconvenient. Our room for three had a King bed (very soft, may not be to everyone's preference, but you can't win them all) and the bed for the third person consisted of a pull out CHAIR. This cot was not much wider than my shoulders and my feet reached the end of it (I'm 5'9" with a slight build, so good luck to anyone larger than that). This was topped with something that resembled a mattress but offered no support or real comfort. The up-charge for three guests (over two) is not huge, but the bed provided is pathetic and is not what one would expect to see listed as a 'sofa bed'. For the sake of our third traveler, we would have looked elsewhere had we known. TLDR: Poor value, cold service.
the hotel its an antique hotel its nice, its beautiful very elegant, and close to the center.
its not very confortable, the bath tube was dropping water all day , they fix it but still drops were falling, the kitchen didn’t have any pan for cooking, there is no elevator and we had luggages to carry to the third floor., its not very convenient for elder people
