I felt like I’m at home with cozy and comfy vibes at classic style hotel.
Location was great, walking distance to key attractions and the water. Close to public transport.
Construction site next door, no pre-warning of this. Noise started at 7am.
Breakfast was good, location is good - easy to access via the train line - only a short walk.
Perfectly situated for the waterfront but a bit of a stroll to the centre. Very courteous staff and very friendly.
Nothing of any note to worry about. The room looked out onto a light well but it wasn’t a problem.
Good breakfast. Location was great.
The one lady in the morning shift acted like she just wanted to not be there. Not rude per se but very serious. Too serious for a "hospitality" job. I get that location is what you are paying for, but this hotel is too old and in serious need of newer carpet and definitely newer heating/AC systems. I had to leave the heating on all day while I was away and then turn it off for the night because it was louder than anything you can imagine. Also the natural light in the room is very lacking.
