Location is excellent. Friendly staff but speaks no English. Bed was surprisingly comfortable but i dont know about the bunk bed because we stayed in a 4 bedroom room and my friend slept in he bunk bed and I was on a bed/couch or sofa bed.
They charged me 900 extra rubles to register with the police which they have in they’re policy in some section on booking that nobody reads. Just enough to piss me off which it did so once again booking offered me compensation on that. I think it’s an excuse so this hostel can make extra money becasue no other hotel/hostel asked for extra money to register. It’s really a bad value for what we paid because we got a 4 bedroom room for 2 people and basically paid for all the beds which we’re ok with. The infrastructure of the building isn’t meant to be a hostel or hotel. Place smelled and the shower was not big enough. The dorm room showers were big enough but I didn’t want to impose on those people. Staff doesn’t speak English as I noticed in most places I stayed in Russia and I told the owner. I would only stay here as a last option becasue during the FIFA World Cup thats what it was, last resort.
