Good hotel, satisfactory breakfast
The single room was very small and it was impossible to stand in the shower even if you were 5ft 4inches tall due to sloping low ceiling. Larger room was better but the bathroom was needing a bit attention as the polish of marble around washhand basin was gone and the cabinet was badly damaged by water seeping into the joints. However the worst point was the rudeness of the receptionist in shift on the morning of 5th November 2010. It was more than enough to ruin an otherwise excellent break in Rome.
The staff was extremely helpful. The room was nice and it was close to where we wanted to stay in Rome.
There was a rather long set of steps to get to the hotel from the main street. It was hard for my elderly mother in law.
The price was good
The bed was a little small
The location, it was in Rome, and the price.
The staff were of mixed quality - some very good, other much less helpful.
Breakfast was good
TV so bad
the employees were very servant to us, thank you for the help they provided us. also, we could park our car outside thehotel, without any problems, and without having to pay anything for parking. also, the cleaners were ok, and the air condition worked fine. in general, very cheap and well care hotel.
the place is a bit far away from the centre of the rome, about 5 kms, but there is a bus passsing every 30 minutes in a distance of 200 meters away from the hotel, which is fine enought. the breakfast must be a little better, but the machine of making your own coffeee was excellent.
The room was very clean and the staff were always very friendly and approachable
Could have done with an extra pillow and extra tissue paper/toilet paper
The hotel was very well maintained, nicely furnished and exceptionally clean. We were happy to discover that the walls were thick and the hotel was well separated from street noise. The cleaning maids did their job quietly as well which made it possible for us to have a good sleep till noon.
The heating did not work during the first night because the staff forgot to set it up in the system. The breakfast buffet was virtually non-existent, in fact the worst I have seen in my life. Sour coffee, overdone crossaints and not much more. Fortunately food in the neighbourhood made up for this. Traffic jams make commuting exhausting, but its everywhere the same in Rome.
Small and friendly.
