Very helpful staff, perfect location, and breakfast was very Nice, simple. And when I left my jewelry there, they even found it and saved it and had it ready when I could come back and get it. Thank you for all your help. I will stay here again.
Fix shower. It stops up and shower head spewed upward a bit.
Very very dirty Everywhere
Dirty room. Not even soap
Hotel is in a great location as it is within easy walking distance to all the big sights, close to transport and surrounded by restaurants
This is the first time I’ve written such a negative review about any hotel but would hate for someone to experience what we did. Pictures online do not match actual rooms. The first room we were given had black mould all over the bathroom roof and had a number mosquitoes which appeared to be breeding in the bathroom. The room was extremely dusty and smelt musty/ like it hadn’t been used in a while. It was that bad my partner’s asthma started playing up. We showed the receptionist photos and explained my partner had asthma, but they were unable to move us. The manager came to the room to inspect the issue. His attitude was appalling. We were not rude we simply showed him the mould and also told him about the asthma. He was quite angry and told us we did not know what we were talking about and that it wasn’t mould just damp from the shower which can be brushed off, that mosquitoes cannot live in bathrooms and that the room had just been painted (this is far from true). It was agreed (with the booking agent involved) that we would stay at another hotel that night and change rooms the next day. The second room was better but had its own issues such as the door handle was falling off, tiles on the ground were broken, the shower holder kept breaking off, chunks of the wall missing plus more. In saying all that the room was fine and if we had it from day one it would be ok. The biggest issue was the attitude of the hotel staff- because we had complained it meant all the reception staff were very cold and rude to us (cleaning staff are lovely). The booking agent spent a few days chasing the hotel down about refunding us, but after a few games and on our second last day they stated they were not refunding us. Honestly their attitude put a negative outlook on our time in Rome. We have left now and it makes for a story but I would hate for anyone else to experience this hotel.
Location close to Roma Termini and within easy walking to many attractions. Nice clean room. Good size room with many shelves and surfaces to unpack onto. Great shower pressure and plenty of hot water.
Shower head was broken on one side( didn't stop us having a good shower, toilet very difficult to flush.
Close to buses, trains, shops, cafe's, restaurants, convenient location. Housekeeping & b'fast staff excellent. Comfortable bed, good sized bathroom, WiFi worked, little flaky sometimes but mostly ok. Quiet room.
The bidet leaked water. The male receptionists were not very friendly. One aftn after waiting ages at a laundromat, clothes were still damp. When I got back to hotel I asked the man on reception if there were any hangers available. His answer was the question ... Why do you ask this now? housekeeper left for day, why didn't you ask in the morning? I later came back to reception & asked him if he was able to see into the future. No ??? Neither can I.
