Nice and friendly staff, exellent cleaning of the room and perfectly working wifi
poor breacfast, however cruassans were very tasty=)
It is very well located close to the Bologna metro station and also to Termini. Ideal for visiting the city and sightseeing, you can easily return for a short break even during the day. Our room was spacious and clean with free AC. We liked it.
The breakfast is not continental, they serve only croissants, some toasts and sweets, no salty food. Our room was on the ground floor, looking on the restaurant on the garden, so we could not open the window (though with AC on we did not want to). Otherwise it was fine.
Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room, location was great.
Great deal for 2nights split between 3 people. This place was awarded USO Hotel Service to Military members in 2001. Can't say its affective anymore. She could of cared less. We reached an agreement of an 11am checkin time. The AC 5cel is the minimum, a trip during mid July doesn't do any justice. Location is a 5KM from the major sights, 1KM to Bologna Metro stop, 1euro ticket good for 90 minutes. Breakfast was suffice and sleep/bathroom on the third floor is what I would expect from a 2 or 3 star hotel. Sufficient, barely enough room to sit on the toilet, ha. The rollaway bed was fairly comfortable I slept on that two nights and my friends used the double bed with no complaints.
Location wasn't as great as anticipated. Upon arrival, hostess says she does not understand English but interesting enough I show her my reservation paperwork which is in English and starts clarifying Check in and Check out times. Service, you leave your key at the front desk if you leave for the afternoon/evening. When you return, staff does not verify the individual who is asking for the key is indeed the guest. That blew my mind. You get what you pay for I guess. AC Power was not strong enough. Won't stay here again, better accommodation at a hostel.
Very poor.. unfortunately, this hotel was expensive and service was very bad.. There was an accident with plumbing during our stay and for that reason we absolutely can't sleep all night - stinking water droped, poured down, etc. That night was nightmare! Hotel staff said that they can't help and can't compensate! And this is normal accident...Is this normal....? Breakfast - trash.., no coffee, absolutely no normal food, too little space in breakfast room. Actually, hotel silva - the worst hotel!! Before that, hotel is very decrepit and noisy!
