I like the bed
Did not like the 2nd floor entrance, not enough space to store luggages
It's a pretty loud place and it require serious maintenance specifically for the bathroom.
Website says has shuttles to hotel from airport, it doesn''t. Its a lie.
Great location. Small and quiet. Not really 4 stars but overall excellent stay.
Location was good, close to the major attractions in Rome.
The hear in the room was not working and this is wintertime. We alerted the staff who tried to address it, but nothing changed. The bed was very hard, the hardest I have felt. Room very small and very noisy from the tram going outside during the day.
Tram late at night
The location was fabulous, within easy walking distance of the Forum, Coliseum, Pantheon, and Vatican. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very helpful and recommended some superb restaurants. It was also right next to the street car.
The street car was right next to the hotel. If you are sensitive to noise, this could be a problem for you.
We liked the location and neighborhood. Easy access to things around Rome. Staff was friendly.
The walls were very thin making it very noisy. We could hear neighbors, cleaning staff and even outside noise very loudly. The train ran right outside and caused the building to shake, this ran late into the night. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.
Location location and friendly staff
The star rating isn't accurate. You can hear the tram during the day and night. The hotel is side a building making it hard to find. Their were a tons of flies on the front entrance leading. I would rate this a 2.5 stat hotel
Loved the charming old-building architecture and funky/quirky interior design. Front desk staff were awesome, breakfast delicious. Location was great, central to everything we wanted to see.
The tram that runs along the adjacent major street was SO LOUD and actually shook the building. Try to get a room facing the piazza or back alley. Some of the interior finishes were a bit shabby or small things were broken, like the AC did not work, etc.
Its location is great for sightseeing, both in central Rome and Trastevere. Its staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
The air conditioning unit did not seem to be working properly, and neither did the blow dryer. The room was adjacent to the street, where the trolley drove by, making it very noisy in the mornings.
The staff is what made this trip, this hotel is more like a bed and breakfast, with a small staff we got personalized service, 24/7
