Location, cleanliness, staff
Shower was narrow
The price, but I would never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone. I regretted the decision to stay there the moment I walked in. It is not a 3 star hotel.
The smell, the disgustingly old and dirty carpet, the fact that there are two buildings and stairs in between that you have to carry luggage up, the horribly out of date elevator, the discolored wallpaper in the bedroom, poor lighting, not updated
Great location-- Too bad the Spanish steps were closed but the Fountain was open!! The breakfast and staff were nice and the hallways were wide and bright. Good elevator.
I did not like the Rome City Tax -- I think it should be part of the price-- $4 Euros a day per person -- Why not just raise the price of the room?? I do not like surprises when I travel. Great staff and helpful for taxi information.
Location was prime and there were a lot of good restaurants nearby. The staff was very friendly and very patient with me because I didn't speak any Italian - they all spoke English, though. The room was small but clean and I had a great view.
The heater was, quite honestly, not good. There was no 'auto' option so that it would automatically cut on at a certain temperature, so I'd have to leave it run, then wake up in the middle of the night sweating.
A stay at Hotel King places you in the heart of Rome, steps from Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Featured amenities include limo/town car service, express check-in, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
