Property was great! Owner was very nice and helpful. Very clean! Common seating area. Room in the online photos was the room we stayed in. Very close to the Vatican and great restaurants.
Everything was perfect. I cannot think of anything they can do better. Very well-kept.
Location and the helpfulness of the staff.
I liked it all and the overall experience was excellent.
After a bad experience that I had in Rome, it was an amazing place more than my expectations. It was in a safe and quiet neighborhood. You get an easy access to Vatican and it’s just around 40 minutes to Piazza del Popolo, which is a historical site with the luxurious brands. The hotel was so clean and had a nice coffee and bread. The staffs were very friendly and lovely.
The location was very good - 15 min walking from Vatican's museum, and 5 min walking from nearest metro station(Ottaviano) which takes you to the center of the city. There were few good places for eat, near to the hotel. One of the best was exactly 1min walk from the hotel. Also there were some really good Gelatos(gelaterias) about 15min walk. Also the hotel is at quite quarter of the city, based on Rome's city noise during the day and night. Air conditioner - we blessed that we have it during the hot 37 degrees days in Rome.
The hotel was not really a hotel(a whole building, like normal hotel), but just a single floor from an old building. The room was really small, and it was actually a double room but for three persona(double and single beds), which makes it extremely small. There wasn't a table at the room to put some daily stuff on it. The bathroom respectively was small either. The shower was awful - water pressure was extremely low and it was terrible to take a shower. The towels were hard - feels like a tablecloth. Air conditioner was flowing directly over the beds and it was really bad to leave it working overnight.
The manager was very gracious and helpful. Enjoyed the neighborhood feel; wasn’t at all touristy. Very charming experience.
