Very nice and helpful. Near the Spanish Steps metro stop.
It was right in the heart of Rome on a pedestrian avenue. Perfect
Reception people were super nice and helpful. Free cofee along the day. Very good location.
Not so clean (especially dishes).breakfest was minimal with no vegetable, eggs or fruit and in some of the days no chees. Bread had mold. Sereals were OK so this is what we eate.
Was very clean
We liked that the hotel was very central to all areas. The aircon was good in the hot weather after we figured it out.
The shower pooled with water at the bottom and could have been cleaner. The door to the bathroom was glass so you could see right through. This would have been ok for a couple, but not for two friends travelling together. The light in the bathroom was also automatic which was frustrating as when you didn’t want it on, it went on and when you did want it on it turned off if you didn’t move for a few seconds. The staff weren’t overly helpful. I believe it could have been because of the language barrier as well as a cultural disposition towards tourists. Breakfast that was provided was very poor for the price included in the room stay. There was only a few pastries, toast, cereal and fruit that wasn’t the freshest. The internet was also incredibly poor and it times we couldn’t connect for hours at a time, therefore we ended up needing to use our data for most of our stay which cost us a fortune. The only reason we would come back would be for the location, but there would need to be improvements to the room.
Bathroom was very clean and that is very important to me. Bed was very clean and the sheets were clean. There was a balcony, we enjoyed sitting outside in the evening until midnight drinking wine! However, the balcony door lets noise inside so the room is not completely sound proof. They ask you to leave the key at the reception everytime you leave, which I first thought it was an inconvenience but it actually is not. At the front door, you press a button and they open the door for you.
This is out of the hotel owners control, but since we stayed in room #1 one of our walls is shared with a local Italian neighbor. When we were sitting outside in the balcony he started smoking weed and we can smell it clearly. We had our child with us so you can imagine we disliked it. Luckily he did not do this all evening otherwise it would had ruined our stay. But on the morning around 6.00, that same neighbor was showering and I could hear quite a lot of sounds, such as the water running and the man coughing out his lungs, probably because of his smoking. I assume he works early so after 7.00 he leaves and the noises are gone. Maybe the only thing the hotel owner can do is make the room more sound proof. The room is mainly white so it makes it look very cold. The reception was right in front of our door, so they can hear everything we do, but we can also hear the man watching films at night.
