In San Giovanni, one of Rome's oldest quarters, the Best Western Cinemusic Hotel, Rome, Italy, fills a charming early-1900s palazzo of elegant rooms not far from the basilica of St John Lateran. The contemporary, comfortable interiors make a refined city base, with the Re di Roma and San Giovanni metro stations and Tuscolana station close by. From there the whole city, the airports and the fairgrounds are within easy reach. A bar and breakfast room round out the elegant, central stay in the old quarter. The great basilica of St John Lateran, the cathedral of Rome, stands just up the road, the Colosseum and the Roman Forum lie a short walk or metro ride away, the holy steps of the Scala Sancta stand opposite the basilica, and the lively bars and markets of San Giovanni and the old Appian Way fill the surrounding streets. Fountains and piazzas wait around every corner of the centre. CIR Code: 058091-ALB-00534, CIN Code: IT058091A1RTIF6J93
