The Hotel is perfect for people the like fitness. Starting with the room, the are very nice, clean and includes a good bed. On top of Hotel are a pool and a restaurant. The food is very healthy and the cooking team are gorgeous. The staff at all was all the time friendly and helpful. Last not least, Fitness. The gym is very big and the training equipment are up to date. You can join also fitness courses, yoga, thai boxing, cross fit and much more. Personal training is also available including training plan when you need. For me was a perfect stay in a perfect Fitness Hotel.
Great gym on three floors including very competent personal trainers. The rooms are large and well-equipped. Staff is friendly and helpful. We also liked the location, as it is close to a number of places that are reachable by motorbike but still rather quiet. The pool area is quite nice as well and has a great view. Would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast options are limited and the restaurant crew does not speak or understand english very well, so you might not always get what you ordered.
If you're the kind of person who likes to work out and eat healthy even during the holidays, this is the right hotel for you. My room was large and well-appointed, with a comfortable king-size bed and an extra-wide TV screen, a minibar, powerful A/C unit as well as huge, wall-size windows opening onto a balcony with a view of a lush tropical garden. The en-suite bathroom had a large walk-in shower. The highlight of the property is the gym, which occupies several floors of a building adjacent to the hotel: there are separate rooms for free weights, for gym equipment such as treadmills and stationary bikes, for collective courses, muay thai, crossfit and so on, as well as a hammam and a dry sauna. The gym instructors are very professional and dedicated and they give both collective courses and individual training adapted to your fitness level and goals. There's a restaurant on the rooftop, with a small infinity pool and a few tables and chairs around it as well as couches and beanie bags from where you can admire the view of the surrounding gardens and the sea further down the road. The breakfast is freshly prepared by the friendly and helpful cooking staff and consists of eggs cooked any style you want, bacon, veggies, toast and marmalade or pancakes, as well as freshly squeezed fruit juice, yogurt and coffee. You can also have dinner there, as the evening menu includes several Western and Thai dishes, which come in generous portions and are cooked on the spot using the freshest ingredients. There's also a quiet sunset-viewing area on the rooftop, where you can lie in a hammock and admire the landscape while enjoying a cocktail from the hotel bar. Everybody who works there - from the reception to the kitchen, from the gym to the cleaning and maintenance staff - are friendly and helpful and they go out of their way to meet your demands.
The property is located a bit out of the way, on a quiet side street off the busy Soi Saiyuan road. Although the sea doesn't look far away on the map, it is impossible to walk to the beach as the hotel is on a dead-end street. Nevertheless, the lovely Nai Harn beach as well as the busy but less well-preserved Rawai beach are only 4-5 kilometers away, a short 15-minute bike ride along the Soi Saiyuan road. There are very few restaurants and shops around the hotel, except for a 7-Eleven convenience store and a cash machine right around the corner. However, if you walk or ride a bike for 2-3 kilometers towards the Nai Harn beach or to the Rawai beachfront, you can find more restaurants and bars. For more upmarket restaurants, bars and shops, you would need to take a cab or a scooter to the nearby Kata beach. If you want to avoid the crowds of Patong and be close to some of the best beaches on the south-western coast of Phuket as well as to the tropical paradise island of Ko He but cannot afford to stay at a luxury resort in Kata, then this hotel is a convenient option, especially if you rent a motor vehicle. Another slightly negative point is the strength of the Wi-Fi signal, which varies according to your distance from the main router; while this does not pose a problem when using the social media or email, it can be a bit annoying for web-streaming.
With a stay at Action Point Fitness Resort in Rawai (Ban Saiyuan (1)), you'll be a 2-minute drive from Chalong Bay and 5 minutes from Nai Harn Beach. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
