Belmond Hotel Caruso - Ravello - Building
1
9.5 Excellent (285 reviews)
$3,009+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Belmond Hotel Caruso in Ravello, you'll be a 1-minute drive from Villa Rufolo and 6 minutes from Amalfi Beach. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and express check-in.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location, view, facilities, service in the hotel. Concierge was super knowledgeable and helpful with our sightseeing planning. Ravello itself also appears to be perhaps the best town to stay along Amalfi Coast (no crowd, amazing view)
Cons: For some reason, we were not able to catch the complementary hotel shuttle bus in Amalfi and Positano - in Amalfi, the bus drove by us without stopping; in Positano, we were waiting for 20 minutes (10 minutes before and after supposed departure time), and was told the bus already left...using the shuttle bus from the hotel was fine though.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Hairdresser was not good at all , has to redo the blow dry myself in the room and my daughter also used her , and also had to borrow her tongs so she could curl her hair herself in the room as the hairdresser wasn’t doing it properly , the cost for wash and blow dry was over 70 Euros it would have been ok if done well . Probably the worse hairdresser I have been . Really shouldn’t have been charged , total waste of time and money
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything... EVERYTHING!!!
Cons: That I had to leave!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I recommend taking a taxi as the hotel is located at the top of a hill. We walked with our luggage which was doable, just exhausting. Exceptional views, grounds, and service.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Belmond Caruso is a stunning hotel - set amongst the ancient Ravello hill slopes. With private gardens, paved walkways, infinity pool, classic and traditional decor, each touch of detail and hospitality was deliberate and added something. Very special indeed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The pool was amazing (best pool in Italy!)... staff were amazing, hotel and room were amazing as was the food. Nothing was an issue for the staff. The town was also fantastic, not over-run, lots of nice places to eat and drink.
Cons: Not applicable!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The views and the grounds.
Cons: I didn't love dinner at the hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The pool with the view
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The pool and the dinning area are just stunning. The staff are the most friendly. They offer shuttles to positano and amalfi.
Palazzo Avino - Ravello - Building
2
9.5 Excellent (135 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Situated in Ravello, this spa property is steps from Sorrento Peninsula and Villa Rufolo. Villa Romana and Amalfi Beach are also within 2 mi (3 km).
7.9 Good
Pros: Centrally locates . Clean . Staff accommodating . Beautiful views .
Cons: Despite paying €980 for 2 nights , we were given a room with a terrible view ( a back wall of some other property which had clothes hanging to dry!!). Unlike Villa Cimbrone in Ravello where we also stayed, Palazzo Avino charged an additional £40 per day for letting us park our car on their property.... which is a basic free service all hotels provide when u stay with them. Breakfast was average (though sitting at breakfast had the best view ) It was a good property, but for that price and what we got, is stay at Belmond or Cimbrone instead
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was absolutely beautiful and the staff was so professional and welcoming, you felt like family!
Cons: I loved it all! I can’t wait to come back here. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, the food the pool and especially the beach club. Complete tranquility
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is perfect the location, the staff, the view, the facilities can’t fault anything, just a wonderful experience. This was our 3rd stay and will be back next year without doubt.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: EVERYTHING! the view is the best in Ravello, could stay there forever! the Staff were very friendly and helpful. Helped me arrange a car service from Positano and to Naples. Truly a wonderful stay and experience at the hotel. We had chosen a smaller room with no view but really with the views from the terrace of the hotel we wouldn't have stayed in our room too much anyway. The room was perfectly clean. The hotel is very close to the town center (less than 5 min walk) and about a 15 min walk to Villa Cimbrone. The hotel has a shuttle service to their beach club, we did not make it there because we didn't want to leave the property. Keep in mind that the shuttle service need to be booked 24-48 hours prior. Can't wait to come back!
Cons: Nothing! I cannot say anything bad about the hotel
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service in Palazzo Avino is exceptional. The staff are really friendly - they do everything they can to make you feel welcome and deliver on your needs. It's's five star service with a smile. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The views are memorable - you cannot separate the sea and the sky. There is lots to explore in Ravello but you could stay in Palazzo Avino for several days without ever wanting to leave.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location and property! Antonio the Front Manager is a complete star and made our stay perfect

Pros: Beautiful property, amazing views, lovely pool, clean and spacious rooms with great views. Food was lovely and staff were very friendly.
Cons: The shuttle up to the square never worked for us, either the time changed or it stopped running, but it wasn’t a big issue as we could still walk to the square, there were just lots of steps!! A good way to keep fit.

Pros: Very helpful staff. Breakfast high quality. Room spacious and lovely balcony with great views. Shuttle by vintage car to town centre very convenient.
Cons: Nothing!

We also enjoyed lounging by the pool, which offered a similarly stunning view. The staff was friendly, informative, and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All of the staff were excellent; they couldn't do enough for you, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spacious, good view and very clean. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is unbelievable!!!! It should get MORE than 10 stars. Can I do that? Staff is incredible. Carmela, Franco and Erasmus are three names I remember they were amazing, but there are more like our waitperson at dinner and the checkout clerk, I feel so badly I don't remember their names. I don't know how they get them to be so enthusiastic, helpful and lovely. They never make a mistake either! From beginning to end our stay was amazing! We can't wait to go back and neither can our friends we traveled with. They even want to have their wedding at Cimbrone. The grounds are incredible, the rooms are Devine, and for all costs (ours was deluxe with sea views, theirs was more simple, but all amazing and elegant. We had a balcony overlooking Ravello and the water it was AMAZING. The bathroom had a wonderful double tub and we actually got to take a bath. They provide with THE most lovely box of toiletries I have EVER seen. At any fancy hotel. Also THE most comfortable bed and linen. and pillows. I had the BEST nights' sleep! Seriously. Do your self a favor and dine at Le Flato Di Pan on premises, we asked them to wine pair and it was amazing. They use all the local vegetables they grow onsite. It was literally the best salad I have ever had with veggies from their garden. Then take a moonlight stroll on the grounds, and do it again in the morning light. We have photos and memories to last a lifetime. But we hope to be back much sooner. Can NOT rave enough.
Cons: Every single thing was perfection, from getting picked up our luggage and car taken away to checking in with bags already in our room, the lovely grounds, the amazing dinner and breakfast. I only wished we had stayed twice as long or more!!!!! Well done Cimbrone!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I spent one night at this beautiful hotel for our 26th Anniversary. They did not only spoil us with champagne and cake in the room but also with a beautiful gift set on the bed with special bath treats! The decor of the room as well as the hotel was superb and the view from our balcony breathtaking. The staff went out of their way to make us feel special and comfortable. The walk in the beautiful garden early in the morning before all the tourists arrive was also spectacular. I would definitely recommend Hotel Villa Cimbrone. Our stay was something out of this world that we would always cherish and remember.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. The location is beautiful, wonderful view, great service.
Cons: That we didn’t stay longer
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Unforgettable location. Very atmospheric villa. Staff was exceptionally attentive and accommodating.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location, lovely staff, excellent food.
7.9 Good
Pros: Charming Ancient building and beautiful gardens
Cons: The 15 min mandatory walk at 35 degrees to get to and from the hotel we’re not mentioned on any description
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This property is truly special. We’ve stayed a lot of great places and this is definitely among the best. The view from our balcony was spectacular.
Cons: The property hosts frequent weddings and events during which music blasts until midnight, even on weekdays. We experienced this 2 out of the 4 nights we were there. This takes away from the peace and tranquility of the property and Ravello in general - the peacefulness is why a lot of people choose Ravello over Positano.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything ;)
Cons: Staff / service too long at the bar.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location and view
Cons: There is no transportation to the property

The mini bar and snacks very useful and reasonably priced. Great breakfast and his daughter's cake was yummie. Could easily have stayed longer!

Pros: Incredibly picturesque location with majestic views. Especially warm, friendly and helpful host. Great facilities with very reasonably priced mini bar and effective air conditioning.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast and terrace.
Cons: Room was tucked in beside office - would recommend asking for a room opposite the breakfast terrace . B&B is located on a busy road where parking was somewhat of a challenge.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Giuseppe was a terrific host, particularly with breakfast. The B&B Is a 10/15 minute walk into the centre of town. Stunning vista from the terrace and our room. Good facilities, iron, washing machine and coffee maker. Handy for the walking paths to Minora and to Amalfi.
Cons: Be warned that there is a steep climb up stairs to reach rooms. Not a problem if you are fit and agile.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location of this property is approximately 15 mins walk to the main square in Ravello and the views from the property overlooking Minori are amazing. Although it’s sign posted from the street it did take us a little time to find. We are a family of four and it we had a very comfortable stay

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, good choice, and great coffee! Beautiful views and breakfast under the lemon tree on the balcony was lovely. Everything worked very well, and would recommend to others if you are happy to walk up some fairly steep steps, but that's normal in this part of Italy.

Cons: Great accomodation..stunning view
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The owner was incredibly helpful. We were travelling with an infant and he went out of his way to help us.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was good as just beneath the main square. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and much as I expected in a mediterranean country.
Cons: Coffee facilities in the room would make a significant difference. Slightly quicker service of breakfast would not go amiss (well serving that first cup of coffee at least).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, only a 2 minute walk to main square! Friendly staff and enjoyable stay. Good facilities, Internet a little slow at times but 3G coverage good for area.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Even though there was a big car park in front of the hotel, as it was at the end of a road, there was no significant noise. The accommodation was spacious and clean. The Continental breakfast provided was excellent. Everything was freshly prepared and the owner was friendly and helpful.
Cons: There is nothing to complain about and we would probably stay there again when next visiting Ravello.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts were great. Pietro and Ida were very helpful and hospitable.
Cons: A kettle and tea making facilities in room would have been good. There were 2 cooking rings but no utensils.

Cons: No nothing, everything was brilliant!
6.0 Good
Pros: peaceful, spacious rooms, great breakfast on terrace, views of hills lovely.
Cons: wifi useless, and an unexpected car park location - not a problem in October, but not clear at booking.
7.7 Good
Pros: Pietro and his staff were very helpful. The room was bright and clean and the scenery was beautiful. The continental breakfast was great and nicely served. Proximity to Ravello musical concerts was a plus.

Pros: The location was perfect as my family (older children) and I were visiting Ravello for a family wedding in the square above the hotel. Pietro and Anna, the owners, were very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend this hotel.
Cons:

Giardino dei Limoni - Ravello - Building
7
9.1 Excellent (250 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Giardino dei Limoni in Ravello, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Amalfi Beach and Amalfi Cathedral.
7.5 Good
Pros: Fabulous views. Kitchen was a bonus. Host carried our bags for us which helped two elderly travellers!!
Cons: 194 stairs to vehicle road!! Bed uncomfortable and unit needed refurbishing. Blinds were broken.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely breathtaking view from our room and balcony over the Amalfi coast. The kitchen was very handy as the property is not very close to any restaurants - Gregorio left us loads of food as well. It was tucked away and very quiet. Close enough to Ravello and Amalfi if you are fit. Bonus of little kittens wandering past.
Cons: There were mosquitoes which meant we had to keep the door to the balcony closed in the evenings and mornings. Also, steps required to access the property (but this is standard in Ravello).
4.0 Okay
Pros: The view was spectacular the coffee machine was brilliant and those stairs
Cons: The foyer smelt like a used litter box and the neighbour that provided the keys was little to no help
5.4 Okay
Pros: The view was superb
Cons: The walls between the studio were really thin - we could hear all the personal stuff going on either side of us. The vertical blinds had at least 25 % missing, one bedside table didn’t work. The most disappointing thing was the breakfast provisions- everything was prepackaged, bread had a 2 month use by date, cheese was plastic wrapped, box drinks ( our grandkids have ) nothing fresh was provided although there was lots of everything. No kettle so we had to use a large saucepan to boil water.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Apartment and View only
Cons: You have to walk down 300 steps to reach this apartment and climb up 300 steps before you start your day. Walking down in the night is still ok but Walking up in bright sun can be very very difficult for old age people. I will recommend only if you are a youngster or athlete who can carry your bags 300 steps up under bright sunlight during day time or summer.
7.9 Good
Pros: The view was amazing and the property is in great condition.
Cons: It's down 100ft of steep steps from the road. In the heat of summer, that is not a pleasant experience.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: An amazing view from own balcony in the studio, great and spacious bathroom and very quiet. Also, no worries about breakfast - the fridge contained everything we needed
Cons: All was good, just be aware that the place is 15 minutes stair climbing to the top. But we appreciated the exercise
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent view from the apartment balcony. Located in a quiet area just outside of Ravello. The hosts are very welcoming and provided information about the local area and how to get around. You can also walk to Minori/Amalfi coast (lots of steps!)
Cons: There are lots of steps to get in and out of the property and to walk to ravello/any of the towns. We didn’t mind but can be quite hard in the heat
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The position on the side of the cliffs provides amazing views over the sea to Maiori and Minori. The hosts were very friendly (as are the cats) and the accommodation is comfortable and with good facilities.
Cons: Signposting could be improved- we walked down the cliff to the wrong B&B on a very hot day, and then had to come back up again!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, our room and staff
Cons: Everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From far the BEST BED AND BREAKFAST of our journey in Italy. - The place was very clean - the mattress was good - the breakfast and the view of the terrace was simply AMAZING - our hosts were very gentle - the location is 10 min by car from Ravello (and by foot 45 min) and 15 min by foot to Atrani and grom there 10 min by foot to Amalfi. A good surprise if you enjoy walking like we do It was such a charming place that we wanted to stay
Cons: -The cost of the room definitely worth it ! -Sometimes after the shower there is a suffer smell from the piping but it does not last.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This place is beautiful! Amalfi is very close by car and this place was in Ravello which made us escape the crowd in Amalfi and relax. The view is amazing, you can fully relax there. The room was a good size too and the bathroom was pretty large. Highly recommend!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was always amazing - I could have gained ten pounds from all the delicious homemade croissants, cakes, etc. Fabulous fresh sorbet every morning too....
Cons: This is not the hotel's fault, but the getting and out of the driveway and onto the road, thanks to the local way of getting up and down the mountain, is a bit anxiety-provoking....
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is an absolute gem of a place to stay. Away from the many tourists that visit the area. The breakfast is amazing. Rooms are impeccably clean. You need to be prepared to walk down and up hill from Atrani if you do not wish to use your car. For us this was not a problem as there is a lit pathway to and from the property. A bus stop is also close by.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Private parking, the rear patio with a gorgeous view, owner was so kind, and employee was able to recommend a fabulous restaurant for dinner. Breakfast was delightful.
Cons: If you have a car there is absolutely no problem with the location. It’s a 5 minute drive to the center of town where there is a public parking lot. If you do not have a car, you’ll have to take a pretty tough walk up to town but it’s doable.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view is A-mazing!! It is literally in the lemon gardens. Super calm, there is no noise around. We slept with our window open, chill fresh mountain air was coming in. They serve a breakfast beyond expectations (for an italian hotel) with home made jams, chocolate cream, bread and freshly baked cakes...
Cons: Parking was not big enough to fit cars for all the room. The locations is literally up on the hill, it was hard to come back if you miss the entrance.

Pros: View from when walking out of the doors to the room to the backdrop, absolutely breathtaking,
Cons: We had attended a wedding and had a few friends by the pool to have a few drinks but the owner told us in no uncertain terms to clear off. Thought it could of been handled a little better.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The pool
Cons: All the steps!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location. Spectacular views. Beautiful grounds and gardens. Pool area is stunning. Apartment is huge. Terrace was private and lovely views.
Cons: Apartment could have been a little cleaner overall (cobwebs in corners, dust under the bed) . Mara the host was practical and helpful but lacked warmth.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow, what a beautiful setting for staying in the Amalfi coast. The villa is lovely and such stunning views from the private terrace. Very quiet area and the villa was very comfortable. Mara was a great hostess, helped with where to park and met to show you to the villa. Couldn’t recommend this as a place to stay more!
Cons: The only small drawback was that for that beautiful view there are of course stairs! Was tough pulling a case up then when leaving, so wouldn’t recommend for people with mobility issues - but otherwise it’s really worth it for the location!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From our perspective the property is exceptional . We loved every minute of our stay . Thank you to the owners and staff . Our apartment/ home was wonderful. What a beautiful place in the most beautiful town of Ravello . We could not have asked for anything more for our family of five .

Cons: Would of liked the option of a cooked breakfast.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast with a coastal view. Hard to leave the breakfast table! Also has a bar and had dinner in hotel . Again all with view , great staff and wonderfull seafood. Entrance is as you came to tunnel that enters the town where the buses stop. They valet parked our car, would recommend , parking that day would have been difficult. Look for the sign that say Garden Restaurant & Hotel . Set on side of the cliff so just see the sign and entrance ( by foot and the bar on top to the right)
Cons: No complaints.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Overpriced for a 3star hotel (Compared to other places in Ravello ..we didn’t do our research properly)

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really Nice appartment with a really lovely view and Well-equipped. The host Carla was really sweet and helpfull.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This villa is in the most spectacular location on the Amalfi Coast. Having breakfast every moring on the balcony with views of Ravello is amazing. The villa is in a quiet location away from from the hussle and bussle of other towns. It is also central and easy to get to many parts of the Amalfi Coast by car and public transport. It was great to have the use of a life guard protected pool which is just a 5 minute walk away. Carla is a great host and was very helpful and easy to contact during the week when we needed some advice about getting to different locations.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: absolutely loved the huge terrace and view lovely to have breakfast/refreshments supplied we loved the peace and authenticity of Scala which also had adequate mini market, bars, fruit seller and grocery stores we loved the well maintained gardens, peace and tranquility we liked both Alfonso pool and hotel Giuseppina pool which was a nice walk to Carla was lovely and helpful
Cons: typed info about buses rather than a whatsapp communication occasionally the traffic noise below in the valley was bothersome; could be worse in high season more accurate info about walking to places, such as Amalfi
9.6 Excellent
Pros: What a fantastic place to stay! Carla was extremely friendly and helpful and gave great recommendations of places and restaurants to visit. She even picked my friend and I up from the bus stop on short notice when the flight of our 3rd friend (and driver) was delayed. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The positioning, the view, the facilities
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting. Close to everything, but far enough away to feel very local.
Cons: The pool is at the next property. It is hard to get to and it closes at 5 pm.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was nice and clean, view also great
Cons: The beds and doors was creaking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really lovely spacious apartment with fantastic view over Amalfi and Ravello and the sea. Brilliant host who gave us lots of advice and info about the local area. Great pool and hot tub (both shared).
Cons: Very steep driveway, and quite a walk to the pool which is in a neighbouring hotel (pool is lovely though and not at all crowded).
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Carla, our host was amazing and communicated so well with so much advice and helpful insights. The villa itself is beautiful and has a stunning view. When we arrived it was a Sunday and there was a group of older gents outside the church in Scala playing cards and it really was an authentic kind of experience and escape from the tourists in Amalfi.
Cons: We had read that it was quite a hike to get to the villa, so went in eyes open, but the stairs to get to Scala and the local bus system mean that getting around without a car is not entirely stress-free. If you have a longer time to just relax and enjoy the villa and pool at the neighbouring hotel I think this is perfect. We simply tried to fit doing lots of things into our 3 days so grew tired of slogging up the stairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We particularly liked Carla, our pocket rocket hostess. Carla was amazing in that she always responded within minutes to our queries and made a true effort to make us feel most comfortable in the accommodation. The actual accommodation was fabulous - light, airy and very spacious. Carla also suggested a fabulous driver who took us to Pompeii. All in all a wonderful stay in the picturesque Scala with Carla as our hostess.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.

7.2 Good
Pros: the food and proximity to the sea. Thats a plus at Costa Amalfi.

Cons: Should be more courtesy buses to Amalfi/Ravello.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was excellent and the service and staff were wonderful The location was great
Cons: Its location is confusing - it would be useful if the website could state that the hotel is on the Amalfi coast road (ie not in the middle of Ravello) and that it's a Best Western - everything else was great.
6.4 Good
Pros: Beautiful setting
Cons: It is too difficult to get to Ravello for the evening - hotel should offer transport to Ravello and possibly other locations for the convenience of their guests
7.2 Good

7.9 Good
Pros: Location, view and staff are what you are experiencing at this location. Ask for the room with view and terrace, totally worth the extra up charge just for the postcard view of Mediterranean Sea from atop of the mountain.
Cons: While staying at the hotel we noticed that all of the electric is turned of while we were out of the room. Not convenient when trying to charge all of your photography equipment for a morning wedding. No bathrobe or slippers where available. Toilet seat was loose making it aqward when sitting. Bath shower curtain did not have a plastic liner so when showering the floor became wet, creating a slipper floor. Breakfast is ok, nothing very exciting and always the same.
7.1 Good
Pros: Very clean, traditional feel and the staff were good
Cons: Uncomfortable beds Shower temperature-poor pressure and inconsistent temperature Hairdryer - pathetic
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and location were idyllic. Far better than either the booking website or their own website presented. Ravello was amazing and we were able to walk down to Amalfi and the coast road. The hotel was quiet and the service was excellent. We had one of the junior suites and it was beautiful.
Cons: Nothing we didn't like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A nice clean hotel with a great staff, great location and views. The outside patio has breathtaking views!
7.9 Good
Pros: There were some exceptional staff on the front desk and in the restaurant. The location was extraordinary. Very central but overlooking both sea and lovely Villa Rufolo.
Cons: The location of our room...we had a dog so perhaps understandable but overlooked hotel roof, not landscaped so tidy but disappointing. Main dining room food was a major disappointment. Maybe it was the chef’s night off.. We requested parking which we got but some advance information on how to access. The hotel by car would have been helpful.
7.9 Good
Pros: The best location, 1 minute from the main Piazza. The hotel staff recommended and booked great restaurants before our arrival and were helpful.
Cons: The rooms were clean and comfortable but very dated.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location and the staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Terrace with outstanding view
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location Very friendly and efficient staff Super helpful
Cons: Our check out was at 11 There needs to be a much better shower room for guests when they have to stay later than check out When we asked for one the staff said we had to use the one at the pool This wasn’t satisfactory for this level of hotel The shower was outside and not a nice place to get ready

7.1 Good
Pros: Staff was amazing and wonderful; kept its words with providing/ completing my requests
Cons: Lots of stairs and away from plaza & the city.
7.9 Good
Pros: The property grounds were very pretty. They set up breakfast for us more than an earlier than they do breakfast due to our departure schedule. Antonio was very kind. It was a walk into the town, but along the path to the Villa Cimbrone, so it made it worth it.
Cons: It was an expensive room, and for that money, we expected a larger room. The room was very small.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views and incredible staff
Cons: Could use a few sun beds on the outdoor deck otherwise very nice.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view was absolutely stunning from the private balcony. The room was very luxurious and the shower very spacious. Loved everything about our room. The stuff was so lovely and very helpful! Big TV and Netflix possibility was a bonus. Getting to the property wasn’t so bad also - just a brief exercise!
Cons: We were disappointed of the valet parking. We were promised to get our car in 10 minutes but actually had to wait for 50 minutes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, Antonio and the rest of the staff are very helpful, a rich and delicious breakfast. Amazing view from the balcony and from the rooms (that facing the landscape)
Cons: The place is lovely, but note that help from the hotel is needed to transport the luggage with porters (this is not possible after 7 pm) a long walk up many stairs to the hotel. The effort was worth it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Villa Amore has the most amazing views. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. We had a great stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The view is spectacular. The service was excellent. Ennis and Antonio were very attentive and pleasant to deal with.
Cons: There were no personal products provided...no tissues, no shampoo or conditioner or body cream. There was no kettle or instant coffee and tea in the room. Breakfast could be improved on. I noticed that there was one cake that was being served for the third day and only one cereal....no choice.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast could have been a little more varied with more fresh bread and some different fruits
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Villa Amore is set facing the Tyrrhenian Sea. Every morning was another beautiful sun rise :) The team at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. In all just a wonderful place to stay.
Da Salvatore B&B - Ravello - Bedroom

The simple-style rooms have a flat-screen TV, tiled floors and an electric kettle. Each includes a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. The closest beach is 6 km from Da Salvatore. Amalfi is a 15-minute drive.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The views are spectacular from every room, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and pizzeria are fantastic!!!
Cons: The breakfast is very basic. No pool.
7.1 Good
Pros: The views from the room and restaurant are amazing. Close to bus stop and town centre. Clean rooms.
Cons: At check in we found the staff a little bit rude. The air conditioning wasn’t great and we the room was very warm in the mornings. The wifi didn’t work for us at all.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location. Nice room with terrace overlooking the Amalfi Coast. Friendly staff and parrot kept us entertained over breakfast. Close to everything in beautiful Ravello.
Cons: Group of young musicians in adjacent rooms noisy till 3am on our second night. Breakfast could have been better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There was a perfect terrace with a nice view which will make you want to spend more time in room :) The room was very clean and the lady who is responsible of cleaning was very trustable about your pet. There is a parking building close to the hotel , and the bus stop is 10 meter to the hotel gate. Also Villa Ruffolo ,Villa Cimbrone, nice restaurants and whole Ravello could be seen by walking. Very central but also very quiet. We will visit soon. We will stay there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Even as a fairly picky traveller, I was truly impressed by Pino, his hotel, and his restaurant. The room was clean, quiet, larger than expected, and conveniently organized (included a safe). The AC worked well. The bathroom was clean and nicely outfitted. We had a stunning view of the coast from the private patio (each room has one), which is beautiful at every time of day or night. We walked though the cliff-top gardens of Villa Cimbrone (7 euros) each night in Ravello. Hand-washed clothes dried quickly on the patio during the early morning hours (use clothespins when windy). Breakfast was simple but adequate. Many restaurant options nearby. Pharmacy across the street. The hotel is immediately adjacent to the SITA bus stop and taxi row, and close to the main square in Ravello. We found the bus (roughly every 30 minutes during the day, see online schedule) to be convenient for trips to/from Amalfi without luggage, but too full in the summer to accommodate luggage. When needed, Pino secured good taxi rates and drivers for us; he is well known and respected by multiple locals that we met during our stay. One summed things up by saying, "He's a good person." We agree. Excellent value overall.
Cons: My only complaint is that we didn't have time to stay longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms clean spacious and great view. Restaurant food was amazing, huge portions and fabulous flavour. Catered for my allergies and gluten free requirements. Top notch!
Cons: All good
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Some lights didn't work
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: You really can't beat the view - stunning! To have your private balcony/terrace overlooking the sea and towns was really special. Good sized room for 2 people. Beautiful tiles on the floor. Nice to have a safe and mini fridge too. Breakfast was good with pastries yogurt cereal coffee/cappucino. Wonderful linens and again with a spectacular view! Lunch was sublime. I heard it was very good and I've become a foodie but it exceeded but expectations. Truly a gourmet lunch. They have a grey parrot that is quite funny.
Cons: I would have given it an even higher score but there is room for improvement. I didn't see a pool. The rain shower didn't seem to work although the hand held shower was fine. Be aware, if you don't have private transfer or get a cab from Amalfi which is quite expensive you'll be in for a wait for the bus. Would be really nice to have a transfer or even a discount with a cab that the hotel can arrange.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located with great views of the sea if you are in the resturant or happen to get one of the south facing rooms. We got a South facing room with a balcony with spectacular views but it is because we asked as it was our anniversary. The sea food dinner was excellent, great food and very artistically presented.
Cons: The blankets and pillows were musty making a difficult sleep. Hotel needs to wash those blankets and change pillows regularly. Our room was next to a room occupied by noisy Eastern European workers who made so much noise in the night my husband had to go and ask the reception to get them quiet at am in the morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: -Awesome view from our room! -Very kind staff! -Great location next to the bus station! -Ravello is a great place to visit!

Pros: Pool and restaurant terrace had a lovely few it was a nice quiet place very close to the square so wonderful to walk also for elderly people
Cons: There are stairs between the elevator and rooms this is a little bit tricky
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location
Cons: Slightly tired decor
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole holiday/hotel was a great experience the staff were exceptionally helpful/informative
Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about this stay. The staff was wonderful, the area was spacious and an easy, delightful walk to the Duomo. Carmella the hotel dog is absolutely lovely! Of course getting there is not easy, but that’s true of anything in Ravello! We hope to have the chance to get back to Ravello and Hotel Bonadies!!!
Cons: One staff member told us it would take 20 or so minutes to walk to the beach. Not true at all. Castiglione is easily an hour walk. Wish we would’ve known that.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Within a stroll of the main square but really quiet The staff were so helpful happy and so eager to please Breakfast was plentiful and a good variety The pool was clean and shaded in the afternoons which was very relaxing When we checked out before 11am we didn’t have to leave Ravello until 5pm and the staff suggested straight away that we should leave our cases and return to change before leaving ...a nice gesture!
Cons: To be honest there wasn’t anything I disliked about this hotel.... for the money location and super staff you can’t beat it
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect, away from the main square, but at a location where there are still things around and it's accessible. The hotel is beautifully quirky, the bedroom was spacious with a loveky en suite. Every night there was a turn down service with a sweet on the pillow which was a lovely touch. There is a lovely pool it's quite small but with beautiful views. and just nice for a cool down. There are only a handful of sunbeds though. I must mention breakfast it was superb - the tables have a sea view, the food selection is amazing particularly the pastries. My last mention must go to the staff who are extremely friendly and helpful whatever time of day.
Cons: As per most beautiful locations the cost reflects it, apart from that there is really nothing not to like
7.5 Good
Pros: Overall it was a great place, and the views from the room were amazing for the price!! The Breakfast was very good as well. You really couldnt ask for a better location that is close to everything, but also quiet.
Cons: We had an issue with the valet parking. We had our car parked the entire time we were there with the hotel which cost us an additional 20 euros per day. We gave them the car in perfect condition, and it was returned with significant front end damage. We noticed it immediately and brought it to the attention of the front desk and management who claimed it was already there, which it certainly was not. Beware of this service the hotel will deny any wrongdoing!!
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Pool a bit small.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful and respond quickly to any requests. My room was a good size well maintained and comfortable. Breakfasts were great with lots on offer. Hotel position good as access fairly flat considering hillside location. The building is well maintained and retains mostly original features. Particularly striking is the marble staircase. The views are amazing if you have a sea view. Town square in comfortable walking distance.
Cons: The pool area was a little cramped and remnants of smoking not always cleared. The areas overlooking the coast were reserved for diners. I would have liked a bar to the rear to appreciate the views of an evening.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the square (& wedding venue) with amazing views & pool
Cons: Lots of corridors so took a wrong turn a couple of times

Pros: We love the friendly staff and the service you get for your baggage when you arrive in your taxi. The setting is perfect for the hotel with a wonderful view from the pool area. Breakfast is always very good with plenty of choice and a lovely setting overlooking the pool on the outside terrace. We always stay at the Giordano when visiting Ravello it is our favourite hotel.

Pros: The place is so close to ferry, and nice hospitality buy all
Cons: Nothing it was a great location and very well run,,
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Pizza at lunch was great.
Cons: Should offer the same tv options for the smaller rooms as the comfort rooms
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good choice of breakfast, VERY helpful friendly staff, excellent location right in town, lovely typically Italian decorated rooms, comfy beds, daily towel hire included for pool, free arrival drink, receptionist had excellent local knowledge and spoke perfect English. Really lovely breakfast in a bag to take away on our departure as we had an early flight. Rooms incl. bathroom was cleaned and made up everyday.
Cons: No kettle, tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Even in hot weather the pool was absolutely freezing as it’s not heated
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Very hard mattresses Ants in rooms Breakfast is meant to be served until 10am however they start packing up the buffet at 9.30, this happens at lunch as well as we asked for something at 15.45pm but was told the kitchen was closed even though it was meant to be open till 4pm. It's very expensive for what it is, I would not classify it as a 4 star hotel.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location, near the main square and shops. The swimming pool Secure car parking.
Cons: Had to go to another restaurant to get our “welcome” drink - which is rather bizarre, and, difficult for persons with mobility issues. No evening meal available when we arrived, again, one had to walk to the sister restaurant, or, go elsewhere Access to the hotel, by car, was not easy due to the very narrow lanes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had the family room and was out there for wedding the perfect location and room was amazing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location! Quiet little gem!
Cons: Pillows were too flat with no Memory Foam options for allergies.
