Overall, this place was simply beautiful. The food was amazing, the Asian restaurant was our favorite; the hospitality staff were amazing, the resort activities, Spa and entertainment were all fun/relaxing and made it worthwhile. The Room service was great. The views from our room was amazing. Being apart of the Xhale club was a good investment. My biggest gripe with this resort were the alcoholic beverages! They were all sweetened and tasted virgin-like! It’s was as if their alcohol was watered down from the bottle even after the pound of ice they threw in the cup too. It was not good at all and was dissatisfying at every single bar- even the Xhale club. A huge portion of the all-inclusive cost goes toward food & alcohol and I felt like I was ripped off because I suffered from multiple headaches drinking “sugary juice” throughout the day instead of alcoholic beverages. None of us in our group could get a buzz from our drinks. We had to take shots instead. The staff had the audacity to put ice in guests shot cups at times. I couldn’t believe it. Mostly in the pool and nightclub I witnessed & experienced watered down shots. I’m not a big drinker, however on vacation- I like to indulge in a few drinks here and there and even that didn’t do it for me. So this resort gets a thumbs down for their alcoholic beverages! Everything else was superb.
