The booked family room was a great size and with a lot of natural light and a balcony. The local staff was friendly and helpful. They have a lot of small fish around which the kids loved and a nice small and cool pool.
The management was a big let down. The property could be really great, but somehow the manager seems to be uninterested in her work. We booked 2 rooms, 1 deluxe and 1 family room, both rooms stated to be with view. unfortunately the deluxe room was on the lower ground and was quiet dark and the view was inside the hallway. The next issue is the maintenance, the wardrobe in the family room needs urgent attention, some of the drawers hardly opened due the swelling wood. some tiles in the bathroom also were broken and had holes in them. The topping was that a already loose shower handle in the deluxe room of our Khmer friend came off the second day. She was to shy to mentioned it because it's the first time in a hotel. After a long day on tour with 2 small kids we arrived tired and the hotel. whilst I carried my sleeping kid the manager ask me to sit down because she needs to talk to me. What a blind sighted way to treat your guests. We brought our kids to bed and when I met with the manager. She said we broke the water tap and we need to pay for it. An absolute outrage! I work as a property manager myself and we are easy to please because I understand the struggles as an operator, but this lady is just incompetent and unfriendly. she also charged for a full extra breakfast because we ordered some mini sausages for our kids. The whole included and not included breakfast isn't well explained either and the favourite sentence of the manager is: "this will be extra charge". Also non of the rooms had the advertised safety boxes nor the telephones. We really would have enjoyed our stay but the management just left a sour after taste.
Good location. Friendly and helpful staff.
