10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Great location
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was perfectly engineered. The bed was super comfortable and the shower head was turned away from the guest so as not to splash them. Hardly any water got on the bathroom floor. The hair dryer was not hidden away and the breakfast Buffett lasts a long time and is delicious.
Cons: The coffee pot in the room is one of those that I always have trouble with. The hotel is out of the way and was hard to find.
5.0 Okay

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was 5 star

Pros: The beds were amazing and hotel was clean. Staff was friendly, breakfast was pretty good.
Cons: The pool area is pretty small. Hot tub only fits 4 people cramped in. Water temperature could be a little warmer. (Hot tub was too hot and pool too cold). But we had fun. Hotel was empty so we had a good time being the only family in the pool.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was clean the pool was clean
Cons: Lot of construction going on and the people doing the construction were cussing a lot and talking about women in a very sexual way just made me feel very uncomfortable if I was traveling alone I would of felt unsafe . But the stuff in general where nice and helpful

Cons: Hotel was under remodel and it would have been helpful to know that ahead of time. Only 1 hotel employee was on duty from about 5 p.m. to 3 or 4 a.m. He or she had to leave the front desk unattended if a guest needed something. All employees GREAT!

Pros: Advertising said breakfast included. Receptionist said NO, you must be a Hyatt club member.
Cons: Light bulbs burned out, no microwave, lobby receptionist was not welcoming, indifferent and not focused on customer satisfaction and two elect outlets were inoperable.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts were really good, but what was very important was that they had staff who were very familiar with celiac disease and could tell my wife about the gluten content of all of the food on the buffet.
Cons: If you just let the doors close, they would slam, pretty loudly. My wife and son both heard the slamming of doors at various points throughout the nights.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was well prepared and kept stocked with items.
Cons: Air conditioner did not cool room as well as it should have.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great, rooms spacious & clean
7.9 Good
Pros: The room was quite spacious. The couch and the ottoman were incredible. The swivel TV was perfect and incredibly genius, which allowed us to watch TV in bed or on the couch. The gym was great. It had weights, headphones available, the towels were great, there was music inside with adjustable volume, and a TV in the work out room. The room had plenty of towels. The room also had plenty of outlets to charge your phone on the night stand. The big mirror and all the mirrors in the room were greatly appreciated.
Cons: The side entrances were not accessible from outside, but I guess they were doing that for security reasons. The breakfast was not free. I don't recall if it was advertised as free though. The pool was outside, which really sucked. The worst thing is probably that the bathroom is a bit small. Both the bathtub and toilet are in the same room. It would great if they were separate.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I didn't know there was breakfast included I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere.
Cons: The hotel was listed as the Marriott Courtyard at the Convention Center, which is where my brother and his wife had talked of staying. As it turns out there are two Marriott Courtyard hotels, one on either side of the convention center. My brother's family stayed at the other one. We had hoped to be together.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was very accessible
Cons: The rooms are a little on the small side
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location was good
Cons: The carpet felt moist and gross, it made the room smell a bit like mildew. There was an emergency light above the bed that kept blinking continuously throughout the whole night, we didn't notice it until we turned of the tv to go to bed. We paid 117 for 1 night and the price did not include free breakfast. It was a hassle to get the wifi password; all hotels I've stayed provide wifi password at the time of check in when they give you the room key. Don't plan to come back

Pros: Room service was great. Bed was super comfortable, but pillows were absolutely awful.

Cons: Had to pay for overnight parking which came as a surprise to us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and very quiet!
Cons: Did not love that I had to pay for parking. Only complaint about the hotel was that the blackout curtains did not quite close and had gaps on the sides so it was kind of bright in the room when the sun cane up.

Pros: The room was nice enough for this level hotel. The bed was relatively comfortable.
Cons: They charge for parking. A lot. They also make you accept a charge for Wifi, but tell you it won't show up on your bill (not sure if that is always the case). BUT, I was never able to connect to Wifi on my phone, and only spotty service on my laptop.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all very friendly. The hotel was very quiet and easy to get to off the interstate. Plus there were quite a few resturants not too far away and places to shop.
Cons: There was no breakfast included. I prefer a partial divider in the room when we have a sofa sleeper for a third person. The bed didn't seem very comfortable to me for some reason. I don't know if it was just too soft. Plus it sat very high off the ground.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hilton properties never disappoint. That’s why when I can, I stay with Hilton.
5.4 Okay
Pros: It’s a great location and staff are great.
Cons: There are two lifts and one didn’t work the whole time I stayed. The A/C in the room was not clean and I picked up an allergy. The property is ill maintained and leave a lot to be desired.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: No
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel was close and had easy access to every place that we wanted to go.
Cons: There was confusion with the reservation and 2 of my rooms were not seen by the hotel as still be booked. They were able to give us 2 rooms at a higher price but they also threw in breakfast.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was good. Check in was easy. Beds are comfortable and my husband liked the big TV in the room.
Cons: It was very noisy our entire stay. We could hear people walking and talking in the hallway while our door was closed late into the night and early morning. I think this is a result of poor sound proofing. The room was clean but bland, needs a little jazzing up.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Customer service was awful.
7.5 Good
Pros: The pool was great had a nice time in the pool, and our rooms was nice and comfortable.
Cons: Well everything was great expect when we were leaving the house keeping knock on the door next to us telling them that check out was at 9 am not just once but twice.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was very quiet and the check in process was friendly and easy.
Cons: While the staff cleaned very well, the hotel can use to be updated.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy location, beautiful hotel, very clean and modern.
Cons: Nothing!
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was great!
Cons: The facility needs updates. The bathroom is way too small. My son and husband had to squat to shower. The bathroom door wouldn't shut and the toilet ran all night. Our card keys to the room did not work well in the door to the room, but worked well everywhere else, and the door squeaked. Breakfast should be free
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was perfect. Attendant were nice. The way that the attendant responded to our concerns in the first morning was excellent. She explain and remove the extra charge for each person breakfast.
Cons: The space around the bed was not comfortable. Air conditioner was massive and the space between the bed and the air conditioner was too narrow. We were ask to pay for the breakfast when the publication online and TV announcements said was included for the price. The were supposed to remove the charge for the breakfast after we approach the morning front desk attendant. We travel often and that is one of the things we look before booking any room.
5.6 Okay
Pros: Convenience to destination
Cons: Two large stains on carpet in room 520 Housekeeping so they tried but couldn’t get the stain removed share photos I didn’t take photos
7.5 Good
Pros: Very clean rooms and helpful staff
Cons: When the pool was supposed to open on a Saturday, they told us they were still cleaning it from the night before. They let teenagers stay in the pool long after closing time the previous night rather than kicking them out at closing time to clean it. We were finally allowed to swim several hours after it should've opened Saturday and the vacuum was still in the pool.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great.
Cons: I was charged $252.44 for 2 nights and after I checked out, the Hyatt is charging me an additional $126.22!! I called and they said they did not see that they were charging me that additional amount on their end. My card says otherwise!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Big, comfortable rooms, great location near restaurants, movie theaters etc.
Cons: no
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location near lots of places to eat and shop. Room was spacious enough for our family of five to stay comfortably. We will definitely stay here again!
Cons: Bathroom was a little snug, but clean.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: I was charged 3 different prices for the same room during my week stay and all was during the week not weekend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really enjoyed layout of room and comfy bed. Good location for some of our other trips, just a little too far south for our needs this trip. Breakfast was delicious and glad they had enough for us to get some after all the "teams" went through.
Cons: There were middle school sports teams staying the same night. Pool was congested and kids were loud. Parents were loud drinking out by the pool and lobby was FULL of people.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: found an M&M under our bed, went to use the Ice Bucket and pulled out the plastic bag and I got nasty water all over me, the bathtub was gross and had grime, also it hardly drained. I had mold on my wall and the drywall was soft.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was great and the staff was friendly
Cons: Our room was flooded upon arrival Bathroom door did not latch or lock Refrigerator did not cool Water was shut off a few hours one afternoon Breakfast was horrible like it had been sitting out for days. We stayed 7 days and breakfast was the same every morning.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff was super friendly and helped us a lot. Rooms were big and spacious, and very clean. Front desk gave several tips on good local restaurants when I asked. Their recomendations were excellant and improved our trip. Will be my go to hotel.
Cons: Pool was a little cold for an inside pool but that is just being picky and a strech to say I didnt like it.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fast, efficient checkin and checkout. Very nice location.
Cons: Too few towels that were not very good ones at that. Bottled water in the room is a charge item which isn't clear from the tag.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Large comfortable room
Cons: On site Starbucks was disappointing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed how modern the room was. You get your money's worth. The room came with two queen size beds, perfect for my guest and I. A free cookie at check-in. That was a nice surprise. Thanks again.
Cons: That I didn't get to stay long enough.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: the restaurant was below my expectations. i live in the area, and had eaten at the doubletree many times although quite a few years ago. i was excited to eat at the hotel restaurant, and it was probably the main reason i selected the doubletree over the many other fine hotels in the area. the food was not good. most of it is sitting in my room now, and will be left here when i check out. the crab cakes were greasy and undercooked. the burnt ends had a horrible taste and were soaked in a grocery store type sauce. the cheesecake had a freezer burn taste. the restaurant had more of a coffee house feel rather than a place for fine dining. and that is what we got. i expected more. i would definitely stay at the doubletree again, except i would not plan to eat here.
9.0 Excellent
Cons: No free wifi

8.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms have been recently renovated. All suites hotel, 14 buildings with 8 units each (4 on each floor). Kitchenette with full sized appliances. Service was excellent and staff was very friendly. 1 minute walk to Overland Park Convention Center, Easy access to Metcalfe Ave, I435, shopping, restaurants, etc. (all with car). Despite the negatives, I would happily stay again for the great condition of the rooms inside and location.
Cons: Exterior of buildings and property is in desperate need of updates and renovation. The complex reminded me of the types of apartment units you would expect in a college town. Stairs and decks are in really rough shape (as of July '14). Nail heads coming up, boards warping up, cracked concrete, etc. As mentioned in my "pros" - renovation money was first spent on rooms and interior, hopefully next phase is exterior.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Convenience of area
Cons: This place did not meet any expectations, bathrooms and kitchen areas were absolutely filthy, beds were hard and lumpy and floors were uneven. When asked to speak to the manager in private out of respect for him and the other guests he was very rude and unprofessional. When asked for refund for the other two nights because we only stayed one of three nights we were charged anyway. Pictures of rooms online were extremely deceiving
10.0 Excellent
Pros: John is so efficient. Always makes us feel welcome. Breakfast very good.
5.4 Okay
Pros: I enjoyed the amount of space that was provided. With 6 of us we only required one suite and that was a plus not having to be in two separate rooms.
Cons: The quality of the room compared to the price of the room could have been better. Leaking toilets, rigged door handles, fair/low quality breakfast, uncomfortable beds/sofabeds, and faucets that sprayed uncontrollably put a damper on the stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beds were very comfy and loved the "retro" look with the appliances and other touches like the turntable and vinyl albums. My girls really enjoyed the pool and having their own room and bathroom (in the loft area)!
Cons: The lounge chairs around the pool are not comfortable and one collapsed on me while sitting, they probably need to be replaced soon.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The beds were so comfortable and the showers were hot. We enjoyed listening to the records provided in the rooms - we felt like we were staying at home. The staff was friendly, above and beyond welcoming! I would definitely stay again!
Cons: My only issue was the room was only stocked with dishes for 2 and we had a group larger than that, but we figured it out
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was so-so.
Cons: Couldn't get the TV to operate even after calling for assistance.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room layout was excellent
Cons: The egg thing was a bit sketchy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Open and friendly. Once you are in your room you couldn’t hear any noises from outside or neighbors. Having a full kitchen and 3 grills to share outside is a plus!! Swimming pool and place to lay outside and Walmart nearby.
Cons: No free beer
7.5 Good
Pros: The remodeled suites are very nice
Cons: We were in a dated model at first

Cons: I had dried blood on my duvet cover. I will never stay at this location again. This speaks volumes for the care taken to switch rooms. ALL bedding should be laundered between guests without exception. For the price I was amazed there was no complimentary breakfast.

4.0 Okay
Pros: The location was great, as was the room itself.
Cons: The staff seemed inattentive. I tried calling the front desk multiple times and no one ever picked up. The housekeeping showed up while we were still asleep, a full two hours before check out. They even came into our room, despite us being in our beds.

Pros: The hotel was very clean
Cons: A little bit more variety at breakfast like scrambled eggs instead of boiled eggs.
7.9 Good
Pros: The guy that checked us in was very nice and very attentive.
Cons: Breakfast didnt have a very good selection of food, busciuts were rock hard got a single queen instead of double. But we did get alittle bit of money back because it was wrong so it was okay.

Pros: We were there for State Baseball tournaments. They were very accommodating. The weather was horrible and they worked with us on check out times so that we would have a place to go between games. Very courteous staff. Nice and clean. Thank you!
Cons: nothing at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked how the staff was there to help 24/7. They were a huge help for us.
Cons: The cleaning service tried to enter the room when we were asleep.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The flickering lights in the ceiling were annoying!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything was good
Cons: $100 fee for having a 10lb poodle, when it says "Pet Friendly"" it should have a disclaimer "at a price" most hotels are $50
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Overall, the motel was safe and comfortable. Parking was easily accessed and the location of was perfect for our stay. The breakfast was more than just juice and cereal, it included biscuits and gravy as well as waffles.
Cons: Upon arrival in our room, we found the toilet paper roll was wet/dirty and had to be replaced. The pull out sofa had a dirty sheet on it. We did have clean sheets for the pull out bed. Please know that the pullout bed touches the queen bed in the room and you cannot access both sides of either bed when the pullout is being used. This created a very tight and awkward space.
