The beds are good.
The restaurant was closed for the season. There was a mini buffet with very low quality. The hotel looks old. Many dirt spots on the old carpet. The bathroom are small and still originals....could be modernized

The room was gorgeously comfortable, the beds and pillows were wonderful, the view outside the window was of the lovely woodlands all around the hotel. The staff was helpful. And the meals were incredible!

The hotel is a little dated although I heard it's going to be renovated so that might change! However it is clean, comfortable, in a lovely quiet location and handy for parkrun! Dinner was good, although not cheap, so I expect breakfast would be worthwhile.

Excellent breakfast. Had dinner as well. Very good. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Great location - just outside the city centre and fabulous walk into the centre which is about 20 minutes away. Hotel next to a small wood and the walk into the city very pleasant.
