The infinity pool was nice. Our room had a good view & good shower but turn it on full and it flows under the shower door onto the hall carpet (drain can't cope). Breakfast comprehensive with many choices, omelettes can be cooked for you even carve your own ham (would prefer clean staff hands doing it though)
Pool across the road. Beach then further down steps to very small public area. Bit of a hike from hotel down to waterfront main area. Faced due east. Lots of stairs and when reached lift only stopped on half way landings between floors Our room in an attached annex building and breakfast on far side of other hotel building but had benefit of a small concrete balcony
. * Location was good, close to the sea * Nice infinity pool with nice view * Good breakfast with a wide range of everything, even fresh made omelettes * Stuff at the reception was very nice * Room was nice but too small * Free desk chairs and parasols at pool * Smoking is allowed at pool which is nice * EUR to KN has a good exchange rate in hotel (don't go to the cash dispenser!) * Housekeeping was very friendly
. * Pool opening hours could be longer (not just till 9-7) * Room was really small, enough for one but would not have been enough for two * No seating at smoking areas outside of the Hotel * Pool bar prices a bit too high (coffee 18 kn = 2,60 euros, coke zero 25 kn = 3,60 euros) * Just a sea view but no direct entrance (desk chairs just from other hotels) * We could stay at the pool on our departure day just till 2 (although there was plenty of space as it's not high season anymore) and the entry chip was not even working till 1, so we could not even go to the bathroom anymore (you need the chip to go there)
Very friendly and helpfull staf. The swimmingpool was nice and the sea too.
Not much luxury. Very pricey for a normal hotel. Not much like the pictures.
Staff was very nice, the cleaning lady on our corridor was adorable! Breakfast and dinner were both great, after a couple of days they can get boring, tho. The room was great and very clean, so was the bathroom. We loved how close the hotel is to the sea.
Nice pool, great views and a lovely outdoor cocktail bar area. It’s a very grand looking building from the outside but is more like a P&0 cruise ship that has run aground on the inside and feels like the decor needs an update.
The staff were really odd and quite rude at times - they came across as stern and unhappy and didn’t seem to have any understanding of customer service. The hotel were particularly fussy about parking, which they charged extra for and the room was hugely overpriced considering was tiny and stuffy. Staff seemed offended when asked if the hotel supplied towels for the pool. Dining room staff were particularly uptight and just looked miserable. They didn’t really ‘tend’ to our table at all and when my partner tried to get some cutlery for us, it was snatched back out of his hand! The breakfast was mediocre, coffee and tea from a manky old machine. The whole experience just left us feeling like the hotel wanted to fleece it’s customers without providing any of the comforts of the hotel it was pretending to be.
