Room design and space
Covid closed the bar. Would have loved that
New was very comfortable. Hotel was in a great location. Staff was very helpful
The hotel is really chic and has a cool vibe. The location is perfect.
Beware that there are rooms that have no windows to the outside! My husband and I booked a king room with city views, but were notified on arrival that we had been "upgraded" to a king suite because we were celebrating our anniversary. When we got to our room, we realized in horror that the only window was a small window to the busy interior hallway. The idea of staying in that essentially windowless room was unbearable to me, and we asked to be transferred to any room with a window. We were transferred to a beautiful room the next day, but I would never have even booked the hotel had I known that we would spend the first night without natural light. It also felt disingenuous to call it an upgrade. The staff was also nice enough, but not the most competent.
Very convenient, romantic and relaxing
Small Cozy Different
The smells weren’t good in two occasions but they were gone rapidly
Brilliant boutique hotel 2 blocks from FQ
Loved everything. Not one single complaint. Rooms were well appointed. Comfy beds. I will definitely returnto this hotel. Beautiful public spaces, bar soon to open French bistro, beautiful courtyard and cool library room with nice sofas to lounge or work.
The only slight issue was that I had a ground floor room and my window faced an alley; so lots of weekend noise. Choosing a room on an upper floor may help.

There is no shortage of attractions to take in when in New Orleans. Guests can spend time in the French Quarter taking in some of the vibrant culture and music that makes New Orleans such a popular destination. Whether enjoying a sugarcoated beignet at Café Du Monde, or enjoying impromptu jazz sessions, the Cajun saying of “Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler” (Let the good times roll) is felt all over the city.
The Eliza Jane offers two dining choices for guests. The Couvant is infused with the flavors New Orleans. The Press Room provides guests with a more refined space to enjoy cocktails and small plates. Room service is available for guests.
