No free parking. It was a real hassle.
The location and the cost value! Hotel was very clean, and staff was very hospitable. Overnight parking/24 hour (Premium Parking=private lot) pay-to-park was close, short walking distance (less than two blocks away), and very convenient to the WWII Museum and restaurants.
Breakfast buffet was a little disappointing; eggs were very dry and hard, breakfast meats were barely cooked, and oatmeal was a little runny. Also the drive-up/checkin parking area was extremely crowded and difficult to maneuver. Space was limited.
Our flight was cancelled at the last minute. Because we had to be in New Orleans we made the 8 hour drive. Kept them informed about us being late for check-in. Made it at 3 AM. Very friendly guy at reception. He directed me where to park and opened a side door for me instead of walking around the building. Every time we walked by the reception we got a smile and Hi. Very friendly staff throughout the building. Breakfast had smells all over the building. Did not take advantage because our friends were not registered here and we wanted to eat meals with them. 15 minute walk to Bourbon Street.
Brand new remodel. I asked the front desk when construction was completed. January 2019 and to be quite honest, the construction company should be shut down. In our room entry floor curling up. Register above entry door hanging down. Because we were there in the weekend I did not want to bother maintenance. I reported it when we checked out. The lady at reception was pretty upset we found issues and apologized many times. Just sad to see new construction with such poor quality.
Great location! In town to spend a couple of days @ WW II museum
Our room was supposed to be wheelchair accessible but it needed some "tweaking " to be truly accessible: no bench in the shower, room was so cramped that it was very difficult to get Mom's wheelchair in between the beds, the beds were really too high & awkward for wheelchair bound person to get in & out of
the staff was absolutely amazing!
first room key would not work after 3 tries, they then gave us another room. this was on Thursday, and on Friday night we moved one of the stools from under the bedside table and found a syringe needle stuck into the floor, needless to say we were upset
