The rooms are really well designed and finsihed to a very good standard
Lack of choice of TV channels
Access to the hotel is not easy because of the construction area, at night you have to go through a small park which is dark and hidden and homeless people sit there drinking. I have rather crossed a 4-lane-street without pedestrian area. The bed was extraordinary hard, like one would lay on a table. the isolation of the room extremely poor, I could hear everything from the floor and from the backyard. the night portier only speaks Chinese and Italian which is not always helpful for international guests other than Chinese. This is a Chinese hotel, there have been only Chinese and Italian TV programs and the AC was also only written in Chinese.
Chinese managed hotel, recently renovated modest accomodation, but clean. Management tries its best to offer service but clearly still in learning mode.
Fact that you're woken up at .06 am by kitchen exhaust when chinese food gets prepared. Breakfast of modest quality and offering.
The stuff is unfriendly. There was still hair in the bathtub from someone else. The floor wasn't parquet it is bad laminate. The bed was extremely hard, the noise from the highway unbearable. All explanations in the room were in Chinese, so was the air condition. But the worst was that I couldn't take a shower, because the water wasn't warming up. The toilette wasn't properly working either, you had to flush like five times until something happened. When I complained about the cold water and so on, the desk manager couldn't understand a word, because everyone is Chinese. I was in Milano for a business trip and needed an iron for my work clothes, but they couldn't help me out there. The fitness room doesn't exist. This is not a 4 star hotel.
Nothing impressed. Me about this hotel
Everthing from signage to reception was a shame. This is a Chinese hotel in Milan with all the inconveniences of being in China. The staff speak Chinese and poor English. The TV in the room playc cctv and none other international chanells except local italian tv. There is only Chinese tea in the rooms. The shower is installed wrong way around. All finishes are of very poor quality like. some very bad hotels in China. The hotel staff host their friends for late night parties and the noise is unbearable. This hotel is not 4 star like it says. Minimum standards of a hotel were not kept. Nothing on the booking site warned me for this.
